Provided great diagnosis and repair plan. Did not try to oversell or push additional services. Good price for cleaning out the valleys of a tile roof. Grant Smart wanted me to experience some rain to make sure everything has been fixed. He'll bill me about 3 weeks after the repair. An unusual but excellent arrangement for me to verify the work was satisfactory. Work was completed quickly. Had to call him a couple of times to get an update on the status of the work. Would have been nice if he had left a msg on my phone.

Upon review, Diablo West Roofing was seeking contracts for roof replace not spot fixes. We agreed to not engage in estimates, etc.

This is why I am giving Grant (Diablo West Roofing) 5 stars He is quick in respond, resourceful, knows his stuff, reasonably priced and does that little extra that differentiates between a good job and a OK one. I recommend him highly. Also I should mention that this is a very convenient site.

My experience with Grant and Chris was a positive one. I tried to go out and get the normal 4 quotes for my roof repair and they came up in the middle. They were hired to repair the middle section of the roof where two pitches converge into each other. I think Grant called it a "Hog Valley". Right at that point I had a leak going into the garage. They took off the damaged section of roof and laid some IB material there to prevent any leaks going forward. They were very professional and on-time. They also even blew out my gutters while they were out on the roof without me even asking. They said that decided to do that because they were already up there to begin with. It was a very pleasant experience and I hope that all goes well during the stormy weather. I will keep you posted. Thanks again to Grant and Chris.

He came out to look at it and since it was forecasted to rain the next day, he stayed to fix it. It turned out to be worse that he expected with some under panel needing replacing, but he and his partner worked longer and got it fixed. We tested it the next day with a hard rain. Lots of water OUTSIDE but not a drop INSIDE:) terrific job on short notice.

Almost unbelievable service. Called ahead, on time, courteous and helpful. He will definitely get my recommendation and future work as needed. I thought service like this was a thing of the past.
