Recently had Anthony replace some water valves on two washers at separate locations. He was prompt, courteous and professional. The entire experience was exemplary, well done.

The fan on our nine year old GE Profile oven stopped working last Thursday evening, 5 March 2026. My wife suggested that we call Diamond Appliance Repair to ascertain if they service GE products. I called Diamond Appliance Repair on Friday morning, 6 March 2026 and spoke with Stacy who was extremely pleasant. I told Stacy that I looked at the GE website regarding our oven’s error code “F96” and it stated that the malfunction was likely either the blower motor or control module. Stacy asked me for our oven’s model number to check to see if the OEM repair parts were still available. She then stated that both parts were still available; however, only the blower motor was in stock. Stacy confirmed the likely diagnosis and stated that once the blower motor arrived she would assign a technician and contact me for a convenient date and time for its installation. She added that if the blower motor isn’t the issue, then the control panel would have to be ordered and installed. I received a voicemail from Stacy late Friday stating a technician could perform its installation on Monday, 9 March 2026, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM and I should call to confirm. I received a call on Monday, 9 March 2026 at approximately 9:45 AM from the assigned technician, Pete informing me that he was enroute to my location. I also ensured he had the gate code and provided driving instructions from the gate to our building. Upon his arrival, I met Pete at the parking lot and proceeded to provide assistance on carrying items into our building and in the elevator up to our seventh floor unit. While Pete was adjusting his metal transfer table, he asked me to turn the oven’s electrical breaker back on so he could observe the error code and if the oven fan was making any sound. Once he validate the error code “F96” and that the fan was not working, he asked me to turn off the oven’s electrical breaker. Pete proceeded to remove the screws for the oven’s door and the inner oven box. He then placed a padded blanket at the base of the oven’s wall unit and began to carefully pull out the oven’s inner box. I was very impressed at the care that he took not to scratch the oven’s wood cabinet. Another cover was placed on our granite counter where he carefully placed all the parts to ensure that nothing got lost or more importantly scratched. He proceeded to remove the outer oven box panels to assess the blower motor. It was clearly apparent that Pete was extremely experienced working on GE ovens. Once the old blower motor was removed, he told me to try to spin the mini squirrel cages on both ends of the motor. I attempted to spin the cages, but you could feel the resistance to spinning. Pete then asked me to spin the new blower motor. It was very easy to spin the mini squirrel cages and the difference between the old and new motor was night and day. After Pete installed the new blower motor, he asked me to turn the breaker back on so he could test the fan’s operation once the oven was turned on and set to bake. Within seconds the fan was running and no error code was displayed. Once it was determined that the oven was operating properly, he asked me to shut off the electrical breaker while he reinstalled the oven’s inner box back into the wooden wall unit and reconnected the oven door and associated mounting screws. Once the oven was fully installed, Pete asked me to turn the breaker back on so a final check of the oven could be made. I was very impressed with Pete’s technical skills and his attention to detail throughout the entire service call. I would highly recommend Diamond Appliance Repair for your next appliance repair.

Our fridge compressor went out and they quickly assessed the unit and then got the part in the next day & repaired it. The tech was kind and explained what he was doing.

Our experience with Diamond Appliance Repair LLC was extremely disappointing. We paid $125 for a diagnostic, and in our observation, the technician spent about 30 minutes and did not open the dryer or perform what we would consider a thorough inspection. When my wife asked basic questions, he responded, “I’m the professional,” in a tone we perceived as dismissive and condescending. It raised concerns for us that she was not being taken seriously. When I contacted the company, the response from ownership, in my opinion, was defensive, and I was told I was “too cheap to do the diagnostic myself,” which I found unprofessional. Based on our experience, we would urge others to ask detailed questions about what the diagnostic service includes before proceeding.
