"This customer is a manipulator. I had a contract with this homeowner and gave him over 5000 dollars of work for free. His entire house was being remodeled. He had attempted to hang the drywall and do the framing himself. He literally had every wall not plumb or flush. He wanted to use the drywall to cover the mistakes in the framing. He hired 4 different contractors and all have left this guy because he keeps adding to the job and trying to get work for free. I told him that I was going to do his job as a promotion and worked on his house and only got 1000 dollars in a 2 month period. The entire house wasn't done to code and he refuses to get it done right. He states I had to use his tools. He already had scaffolding on the job site and he told us we could use that. That was the only tool we ever had to use of his. This guy is from Nigeria and is a scam artist. Prior contractors and my wife warned me. I spoke to the previous contractors and all had the same issue. He acts like he has the money to do the work and promises additional work for discounts up-front. None of his additional work ever comes and he just strings you along to get work for free. He hired a guy to do his bathroom tile. And because Jimi didn't do the framing and plumbing to code he expects the contractor to fix all of the issues for free. He states he is a financial problem so he had to cut corners because he was paying 2 mortgages. He stated His long-time friend David Small screw up his house but the other side of the story was he was trying to manipulate David too. He then works for the state but in the beginning, was at his house every day working with contractors. This guy's ethics are very questionable. He was trying to steal my tools and had to take the police out to his house twice. My wife told me not to work for a Nigeria because they tried to scam her too. I didn't listen but I should have listened because this entire deal was him trying to get work for 0 to nothing and manipulate my business."
