My mom (a senior citizen) hired him. She just passed away. Mom would give 0 stars if she could! Many promises. Several lies. told about work dates and hours. Never showed up to work, let alone complete the project. No promises kept. Collected multiple thousands of dollars as draws. Materials purchased but left on the property. Destroyed by weather. Took to court many times. Received a judgement ($89,000) but never collected. The judge said "stand in line, many are after this guy." Statue of limitation was extended. Hired in 1994-2025, The very little work that was done actually damaged our home. Brian K. Stepp refused to repair and complete the renovation project. Brian K. Stepp changed the name of the company to hide from their unethical track record. He has been slippery over the years. Brian K. Stepp changed spouses (Sheila Stepp was his wife when he he accepted our building project). Brian also changed his home address many times. Lost thousands of dollars.

This man came to my house in August. Took $10000 and today it is April the sixth and my project still has not been completed. My I have a $10000 lean on my home because he did not pay the subcontractor That poured the concrete. Now I have a lean on my home and a project that is only 30% complete. I have given him a total of $25000 and have very little to show for it. The wood was laid in my yard from November until February. And I do not think it's any good. Brian Chandler is a criminal. Do not trust him. I have to take this man to court. Because he is not honest at all, please. If you value your money beware of this gentleman he. Also goes by the alias of Brian step.

I would give 0 stars if I could!. It has been a year and a half and this was supposed to take 6 weeksâ ¦.still not done, the work that was done is terrible, and they damaged our home. They refuse to fix and finish. All they do is change the name of the company to hide from their unethical track record.

Do not hire. I hired Diamond Ridge through Angi 3/21/23. My project is still not done 11/1/2023 , home is damaged, I had already paid $35,162.36 ( total project $51,382.27 for 3 entry doors, 1 window, 1 bay window, 1 picture window, siding, structural improvement) by the time i asked Brian Stepp to fix the errors and damages DRC caused 10/6/2023. Based our contract $12,336.05 worth of labor and material was completed (not considering damages) I asked for a refund of $22,826.31. On 10/20/2023 Brian Stepp emails me a total estimation of costs $24,220.15, refund of $10,942.21. When i disagreed, 11/1/2023 Brian Stepp is now claiming $26,807.93 total costs of labor and material was completed , refund of $8,354.43. In summary, increased costs compared to our contract, added costs outside of the scope of work agreed upon, added material not needed for the project (dropped off a 36"x60" window at my house in error that is not for my project and is charging me for it), and services not performed or delivered. 11/2/2023 I provided documented proof from our contract, pictures of work performed/not performed, and Brian Stepp has ignored the evidence provided that contradicts his inflated and added costs saying the costs stand. Refusal to refund.

Took 4 months to build a garage. They subcontracted almost everything. Then when they got done there was a lien on my house from one of the sub contractors. Finally 5 months later with complaints to the BBB and Angi the lien has been removed.
