We hired this company in April/May of 2019 to build a room addition to our home because we wanted to help support black businesses. The initial contract stated that the room would be finished by August of 2019. However, it is now November of 2020 and the room is not finished. (Was finally finished on 1/13/21). It took them 1 year and 8 months to build 1 room addition. We have signed a total of 3 contracts with them and theyve breached every single one by not meeting the completion date on the contract that THEY wrote. However the last straw for us was the contract we signed on July 31, 2020 that stated that if the room is not completed by September 15, 2020 that the remaining balance of $5000 is not due. But, they just came to us, because THEY failed an inspection on how our steps to the room were built without a landing and now want us to pay them more money because they failed an inspection. Even though of the contract it says we dont need to because they didnt meet their deadline. They have since gone back on that which has been appreciated but we are still apprehensive because this experience has been less than ideal. I would err on the side of caution if you decide to do any room additions with this company.
