We hired this company to repair and drywall a house we are restoring. They gave a bid and written agreement to complete each room including closets. The job was done very poorly. When I (the client) came by to check on the status there were a few items not up to my standards. I must add I am also a tradesperson. Upon asking him to fix these areas I was told no that its not noticeable. Three huge items that needed to be fixed and were visible and noticeable to everyone coming to look at the progress. He refused to fix a half inch gap because the wrong drywall was used- refused to straighten a ceiling line and then told me all the new drywall that was installed would have to be demolished- which is not the case. I do plaster work in historic homes and know this is possible as I have personally done it in the past. In the bathroom slopped the drywall towards the window so water would not be able to drain away from the window. This is common knowledge when drywalling a window or cubby in a shower area. He proceeded to speak to me as though I worked for him getting mad that pieces of plaster under the trim needed to be removed to do his job and I (the client) didnt do that for him. The house was left wide open on a weekend as he left and did not communicate that he would not be returning. On that day the house was left a complete disaster. Plaster all over 116 year old floors that were not bagged for trash. 116 year old trim went missing with no way to replace. He made it clear he did not want to be there as he had given the next customer a $17k bid to paint a house and he wanted to start that job and leave ours. And that is what he did- walked out of a contract. Left the house a mess. Ruined $6k cabinets by leaving water on them when there were signs stating do not set items on them. I would never again hire nor recommend this company to anyone. I was asked to get materials on Sunday- went and got them and they had left before lunch to not return and have zero communication or care for professionalism. If he doesnt want to do the job he will give you an extremely high bid as he did with the $17k painting job he walked out on my job for. He expects his paying clients to be his grunt workers. Tacky.

The drywall installation and painting went very smoothly. They were courteous and easy to work with, I felt very comfortable with them working in my home. (Which is unusual for me.) Most importantly the room looks great. I definitely hope to hire them again in the future for the next room we remodel.
