If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I posted a request on Nextdoor looking for someone who might be able to repair the door on my double wall oven—a vintage model from 1970. The oven is actually older than Mack! When he responded, he immediately asked for the model number. By some miracle, I still had the original owner's manual and was able to send him a photo. As luck would have it, Mack was able to stop by about 20 minutes later to provide a free estimate. Most people would have taken one look at a 56-year-old oven and suggested replacing it. Not Mack. Although he had never seen an oven quite like this before, he was genuinely enthusiastic about the challenge. And started the repair immediately. I thought I would have to schedule an appointment. Less than an hour later, the door was repaired and working perfectly. That's right—a 56-year-old oven door is back in business. What impressed me most was Mack's professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and willingness to tackle a repair that was anything but ordinary. He approached the job with curiosity, determination, and a great attitude from start to finish. The biggest surprise came when the repair was complete. Mack refused payment, saying he appreciated the opportunity to learn from and work on such an unusual appliance. In today's world, that kind of integrity, generosity, and passion for one's craft is rare. I would have happily paid whatever the bill was. This oven has survived for more than five decades—largely because I don't cook enough to wear it out—and I was determined not to replace it if there was any way to save it. If you need someone who is professional, prompt, knowledgeable, honest, and willing to go the extra mile, I cannot recommend Mack highly enough. He didn't just fix an oven door; he preserved a piece of history and restored my faith that there are still exceptional service professionals out there. I placed a plea ad in ND APP for help with Dryer repair, and Mak replied quickly to offer services for free Mak at Dillards was very professional, polite and generous. He knew what to do and worked on fixing my dryer quickly. He offered his time free of charge and I greatly appreciate it bc I take care of my 2 elderly parents and this fix was for them. It's tough for the elderly to find help from repair people they feel like they can trust in their home and know they will not have a huge bill.Mak was very kind, repaired quickly and did not charge for the services. We greatly appreciate his help . If it required parts I agreed to pay for parts but this time we were testing if glueing the felt liner is all it needed. I did not have to pay anything. Thank you!

Mak answered my Next Door request for help troubleshooting my dryer within five minutes of me posting. He actually came within an hour and a half of my post to evaluate the problem. He did not have the part on hand, but he ordered it and had it within three days. Once the part was here, it took him less than 10 minutes to put it in and check my machine. Definitely a top-notch service!!
