I contracted with Dirt Movers in October 2019 to regrade and fill low areas of my lawn. I ordered 100+ yards of topsoil , instead they filled my yard with dangerous GLASS AND DEBRIS. They refuse to refund my money or repair the property damage they caused. [see my google review which includes pictures]. 1. Knowingly spread contaminated soil. I am talking HUGE pieces of jagged glass. Every shape, size and color you can think of. 2. Refused to disclose the name of the dirt supplier. Probably dug up a landfill or construction site to cut corners. 3. Actually tried to charge ME extra money to remove the bad dirt 4. Finally agreed to remove the dirt, but only removed a portion. They did not perform a soil conditioning or prepare a final grade as agreed. 5.Completely tore up the yard in the process, left it in horrendous condition. Mud and standing water everywhere. 6.This incident happened October 2019 - 6 months later they have not remedied the situation and have stopped communication. 7. Terrible customer service. They never apologized or took any responsibility for the situation. 8. It will cost me thousands of dollars just to repair what they ruined

I requested an estimate on grading my backyard to fix few issues. The price and timing were very reasonable. The work was quick and dirty. I complained about the quality and amount of top soil they hauled over, yet Leo, the crew manager, didnt listen a bit and still used filler for the grading which will affect sowing grass which I didnt quote with him. I carefully described the task at the start of the day and had to monitor remotely for quality of the work. For example, I specifically requsted to avoiding grading grounds around tree trunks and the crews were not instructioned afterwards. Sevaral large trees were severally damaged. I asked to dig up metal fence pole and the crew were instructed to destroy the fence. The price was ended up 50% more than I quoted for. I dont have time to arguing which might further waste of my time and efforts. I would not recommand this company for grading. Overall the work was terrible and I had to find other contractor to fix the damage they caused

Very accomodating to do a couple small additional 'peripheral' jobs while here.

Dirt Movers was very responsive when I first contacted them. They took a look at my job within a day or two of me contacting them, even though I said I was away and I wanted to do the work while I was out of town. They gave me a quote very shortly after and it was a competitive quote. They brought in about 30 yards of dirt to my backyard (if I recall correctly) and graded it to my specifications. I also ended up using them to seed the backyard and they seeded it with straw after and within the two weeks before I came home, with regular watering from our gardener, I actually had a pretty green backyard! They did a great job. They were careful, texted me photos and were very good communicators. I would trust them entirely.

Very responsive and kept me informed throughout the process. Got the job done quickly.

Easy to work with

From start to finish, overly impressed by their professionalism, communication with us, and efficiency getting the job done quickly and correctly. We had 150 yards of dirt delivered to our backyard, spread and leveled after removing 50+ trees last year. Lee was so friendly and kept us informed each step of the way. They went above and beyond and even came back after the job was completed to move a heavy brick slab to a different part of the yard for a fire pit. Cannot thank these guys enough and would recommend them to any friends or family without hesitation. Thanks again, guys!
