Jim was very professional. He underpromised and overdelivered. One part broke off during the repair that he hardly touched and he paid for it with his own money although it wasnâ t his fault at all. Really nice guy and he was one of the very few people I could find that was willing to fix a Samsung stove. What a find. My wife was thrilled to have our stove working 100% again. I will use him again absolutely.

I have used this company before. Had Jim over last Friday. He is an absolute professional. Respectful, kind and patient. I have had to have him over for the same problem more than once which was totally caused be myself. He was totally patient and again showed me what I was doing wrong. What great service. Would recommend him to anyone. Wish I could give 20 stars instead of just 5.

Jim was great: knowledgeable, highly skilled, professional and personable. I called in the morning about our washer and he was at our house by early afternoon that same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was wrong, retrieved the part from his truck and installed it. In no time the shrieking sound in the wash cycle of our (relatively old) washer was gone. I highly recommend him. He belongs at the very top of everyone's list.

I was having an issue with my dryer leaking water. Jim was at my house 10 minutes at most. He stated my dryer vent needed cleaning and charged me $80. My dryer vent did not need cleaning. The vent from my dryer to the wall was way too long. I then cut it down. That was the problem. I asked Jim about it when he was at my house. He stated it was definitely not the problem. I paid to have my dryer vent cleaned unnecessarily. He should have known that a very long and twisted interior dryer vent could cause improper drying.

Jim installed the replacement glass in our GE Double Oven. He was quick, efficient, and very reasonable. The oven was only 7 years and this particular glass was no longer available from GE. Using the internet we were finally able to locate a replacement parts company with the glass in the original GE carton. The GE serviceman that originally came to our house supplied the exact part number. Since GE no longer supplied the part, we found the part and Jim installed it. We were very pleased with Discount Appliance Service.
