On time and did an excellent job. They were very professional and did a fantastic.

Phil is a very dishonest person. He is also very unprofessional, and we are surprised his business has made it this far and this long. Be gave us the good old bait and switch and never followed through with our agreed upon binding estimated, but he did extort us.

The crew took delivered what they promised. They even rearranged the furniture without any complaint when requested.

A jar of money/coins turned up missing. About $200.00 going to my grandkids bank account. I called and was met with denial. It is been a month and it still has not turned up.

This is the first time we used you guys and we are very happy with your service and help.

They arrived approximately a half hour late, but charge me for half hour earlier starting time. They were very slow, working steady but at a slow pace, to drag the time out to 12 hours of billing time, counting the lies of starting much earlier than they actually did. They did not connect up everything moved, as promised, and failed to move several items that should have been moved. When an accident happened and a strap broke and made a hole in the wall, they were supposed to fix it in my last day at the house, which was on a Tuesday, July 31. When I called he owner and asked him why they didn't call to make an appointment for Tuesday, he said that was too short a notice and it couldn't be done. After bitching about the promise from the men on Saturday that it would be, a gentleman named "John" called and we met at the house and the wall was repaired. John was very courteous, friendly and competent, basically the only pleasant experience of this entire move. I think that the cost of the move was ridiculous and I would definitely not hire this company!

Even though one of our three movers called in sick on the day of our move, the other two more than made up for his absence. We had a few VERY heavy objects, and they muscled them safely and without damage. We had two flights of stairs to go up and down, and these guys were not phased by it - took them like walking on a flat surface. Not one piece of anything was damaged, and their cash-price discount was really helpful. I just can't say how happy I am with Discount Movers - starting with customer service all the way through to the end - they met and exceeded my expectations.

They were on time and very capable with the different kinds of furniture. They seemed to have experience, even with our oddities! A couple of concerns. They removed the plywood we had set down over the wood floors while moving a very heavy piece. This resulted in a damaged threshold between the bedroom and the tile in the hallway. The supervisor kind of rubbed at it and said, "Oh, it's okay." After they left we found they had damaged the threshold between the hallway and the garage, where there is a step-down into the garage. I think they just got in a hurry because it was such a large job and they got a little careless. At least the dirty handprints on walls came off easily!

The move went as well as expected. They were on time, wrapped all the furniture and were very pleasant. I highly recommend this company.
