They took the time to bring my vision to life. Trudy seemed to always be available for every single question I had to any additional updates she could provide. Loved working with DDR. Trudy was our project manager and kept everything on track. Her communication and attention to detail were exceptional. When we had a hiccup with the project (through no fault of DDR), they worked with us to resolve it expeditiously and professionally. I would recommend them without hesitation. DDR helped us out when we needed a room addition for an office/workout space. Leroy, our project manager, was the BEST. He was in constant communication with us, very professional, and super easy to work with. If we ever had questions or concerns, he answered them and always made us feel like the customer came first. We are super happy with our 12x18 home addition!

DDR was a great company to work with. The pricing was out of this world; almost half the price of other companies I had talked to. They got their work done fast with great quality. They make sure to match everything with how it is upstairs. They did all of the trim work the same as I have at the rest of my house and also did the door knobs and hinges black like I have at the rest of the house as well. Any problems or concern I had they were sure to address quickly. I liked that I got to pick out everything I wanted. I also liked that I could hire somebody else to do the flooring and painting, but that they had the option to go through their subcontractors as well. I ultimately decided I wanted to get my shower tiled and not have a shower insert and they helped me get linked up with somebody to waterproof the shower for tiling work to be done . From signing the contract to inspections everything took less than four months.

My addition on my deck to turn into a 4-season solarium turned out great. My cat and I love the finish product. The workers who completed different steps/projects on different days were all very hard workers. My project manager Nate was there quite a bit to make sure he and I were satisfied during and after each step.

As our first major renovation, we expected stress, but DDR made it seamless. Chris Thomas was exceptional, keeping us informed daily and ensuring progress without cutting corners. He managed all permits and navigated issues with transparency. The speed was staggering. Demolition, framing, and windows were done on day one. Though estimated for four weeks, they finished in just over three. The drywall crew was incredibly efficient, and the wood finishing team did masterful work on the trim, stair rail, and stained beadboard ceiling. If you want a reliable, skilled team that delivers high-end results ahead of schedule, I highly recommend DDR!"

I had my basement in Louisville, KY fully gutted, designed, and finished by Distinctive Design Remodeling, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We used Distinctive Design Remodeling to screen in our outdoor porch as well as some cosmetic upgrades including a ceiling, new electrical, and framing. Leroy was a great project manager and they did a fantastic job! He was very responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. We had a pleasant experience with this company, are very happy with our new space, and would recommend them for outdoor area renovations.

Job was done well and in a timely fashion

From our first contact with DDR, our experience was exceptional. Kevin Kelly walked us through how the process would work and gave of sound advice that proved itself correct. DDR was flexible with our timeline and made adjustments along the way to suit our needs. The Project Manager, Kyle Quillin, was thorough in his communication, updating us on the progress being made and when the next steps would unfold. We were in Florida while it was being built and it was great to have that stream of contact. The outcome was exactly what we wanted and the workmanship was first class. It was a Five Star job and we would not hesitate to recommend DDR.

They did everything we wanted for a very reasonable price and they also did it an extremely timely manner. We are very happy with it. We could not be happier. We had gone through so many builders to choose one and we certainly were happy with this one. And Kyle came daily, made sure things were timely and done right. I’d recommend him as a project manager to anyone and have.

DDR just completed my detached garage. The garage looks amazing and had to match my house. Their cost beat all the competitors I checked with and the service is outstanding. I would highly recommend them!

We signed up with DDR in August of 2025 and by January of 2026 had a wonderful sun room. They were able keep us up to date with progress and we were able to express concerns to our very responsive project manager. They provided a price up front and there was even fixed pricing at the quote that made us sure there wouldn’t be surprise billing along the way. We would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality sunroom addition for their home.
