Diversified Electric, LLC

Easy to work with

Tom was on time (early, actually) for our routine generator maintenance. He gave us good info on adding or moving circuits to our existing panel at different price points. Helpful, friendly, efficient, reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Tom came over and helped out fixing the generator. He was candid in his suggestions and really appreciate his help

I've had Diversified Electric at my house several times since contacting them through Home Advisor. Diversified is my electrician quality work at a fair price

Very professional, Dependable, on time, called frequently to keep me posted on exactly when they would arrive. Explained what was going on when the generator was serviced, and educated me on the generator basics.

Tom contacted me promptly after inquiring on HomeAdvisor.com. He explained the maintenance procedures for my Generac generator thoroughly. He showed up when he promised he would and completed the work professionally. I have signed up with him for an annual maintenance plan.

He returned my call quickly, arrived when he said he would, did the work, and charged a reasonable price. Also he was a nice guy. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. Needed routine service on an auto whole house generator. Easy to contact, arrived on time, did the job for a very reasonable rate! I will be using them again, and recommending to friends. I've already sent an email to my entire neighborhood letting them know, as many homes have or want to get generators. First time in a long time I can actually say it was a pleasure to deal with someone that made it easy to get a job done, and done well.

Professional, thorough, quality systems

tom showed up as scheduled and did a quality install for a fair price that included all permit and inspection fees all we needed to do was be home. I would highly recommend diversified electric for you back up generator it is great to know that we will be fine the next time our power goes out

On time and knows what he is doing.

Tom was able to install the generator on a pre-fab pad, install the transfer switch and wire it to the main panel, and handle the propane run and regulators from the existing line for the furnace, across the basement and hook it up to the generator just outside that far wall. They are knowledgable, professional, and neat. Highly recommended.

Tom was the only electrical contractor who was able to solve a 17 month install problem I was having with my Generac generator. Tom explained what had to be done in layman terms and accomplished his fix in a matter of two days. Tom knows his generators and is both professional and knowledgeable. Would I hire Tom again...most certainly. Would I recommend him...most definitely!

Tom was great! Very knowledgeable, prompt and went the extra mile to find the exact part we needed (which is for an older generac generator). I just wish instead of two service charges, it would be one. Aside from that, I deffinatley recommend hiring Tom and diversified electric for any generator repairs no matter how obscure!

Tom showed up on time and serviced our Generator in a timely fashion. He offered suggestions on how to get the best use out of the generator. He is knowledgeable and I recommend him highly.

Tom was really great explaining all the details about generators. He was very efficient in installation and always returns calls if a question arises. I highly recommend him. Dave R.

Tom did a great job, worked with budget and had many suggestions and solutions

Tom was prompt on both appointments (estimate visit and day of installation) and has great communication skills. He is very familiar with the Generac product line and knows the codes for installing such. They cleaned up after themselves and walked me through the general operation of the unit. DE is a very professional company and would strongly recommend them to others.

If there was a rating higher than 5.0, I would give it to Tom. He was one of the honest and best contractors I had ever dealt with. He is very thorough, efficient and on time. He also does most handyman work. I would hire him on any day.

Very prompt & knowledgeable.

I am extremely satisfied with the project. Tom coordinated every aspect of the installation. I would strongly recommend Tom.

I am always skeptical when having a contractor come to my home! But, Tom was incredible. He is professional and honest. He helped us choose the perfect unit for our home, was in touch with me every step of the way and was amazing during the day of the install (the install is quite a production). My only criticism is that Tom is not also a plumber, painter, and landscaper as I would love to use him for every job around our house. He is the best. Choose Diversified Electric - you won't be sorry!

We were most impressed with Diversified Electric. Tom Eckert, the owner, and his team, installed a generac 20 Kw generator, fueled by natural gas, in less than one day, including the utility company replacing the gas meter, the plumber snaking the yellow gas line through the house to the generator, and the installation of the new whole house transfer switch. The next day, both the electrical inspector and the plumbing inspector from the township were both impressed with the workmanship. Tom Eckert is truly a professional, most knowledgeable, personable, and competative in regard to price. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
