Deck or Porch - Build or Replace
This contractor never finished the work. They built the deck but never returned to add the water proofing. This was in the contract. I called them several times but my calls were ignored. I was too trustworthy and paid them prior to water proofing. Big mistake. Stay away from this contractor. I dealt with Randy Beard.

We have hired him to do other work in addition to what we originally hired him for and that work is ongoing. He does very good work and is exceptionally thorough. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

When Divine Construction Company came into our home to do the work they seemed very professional and experienced. The owner let his right hand man do his first job on his own on our project . He definitely was not ready . The owner came out and checked on the work just prior to the job being finished. He found several things not completely to his satisfaction. He sent the man back out to fix and finish the job . That was the last time we saw the owner . The job was not satisfactory !!!!! He overlapped paint . He messed up the grout , did not adjust the toilet . Had paint and calk everywhere . The calking did not stay. He put a medicine cabinet in for us,k we wanted white and brown was all the store had in stock .he assured us he could paint the brown one. He did , no primer , so all that just peeled right off . I don't know how they got a 5 star rating . They must have had friends and family write in reviews for them . I would NOT hire them again and would not recommend them even to my enemies !!!!!!
Response from Divine Construction
"After reading this review, it is exaggerated and a little extreme. Extra work was done for this homeowner that was not figured in to the original estimate and he was not charged for it. For example, a window was completely moved with framing and finish work on the outside and inside This was so the homeowner could have exactly what he wanted for the room being remodeled--going above and beyond what was agreed on. Electrical issues were also addressed and fixed that were not in the estimate and the customer was not charged for this service. A walkthrough was done at the end of the job with the homeowner and he was happy with the work completed and even gave a bonus out of his pocket to the employees for a job well done. If the job was not satisfactory, questions are raised as to why the homeowner paid for the job and additionally gave bonuses to our employees. I believe frustrations occurred when this homeowner again asked for an "extra" job of a storm door. Months afterward, he called saying the latch needed to be adjusted and we could not get out there quickly enough because of commitments and jobs going on with other homeowners. We regret anytime we receive negative feedback and strive to make each of our homeowners happy, especially when our team went above and beyond what was agreed upon."
