Quote was reasonable and timely. Arrived on time to do the job. Pleasant. Professional. Installation was done well. Plan to hire again for other types of work. VERY GOOD.

Over the weekend, I had the brilliant idea of attempting to install a new front door on my own without proper experience. After several hours of my own labor and a botched job and soar back to show for it, I sent Do It Right Construction an e-mail on Monday morning around 7:30am. Within an hour, I had a phone call from Chris discussing the project. I asked him to rebuild the deteriorated door frame and build a custom door jam. He asked all the right questions and gave me a more than reasonable quote to repair my work. . The very next morning, Chris and his excellent and professional team arrived at my home at their scheduled time and had the work completed with perfection within a few hours. The best part, he added alot of extra work and materials that were not quoted WITHOUT adjusting his quote. I am currently in discussions with Chris to hire him for a few other projects. On a side note: I sent 7 e-mails to other similar companies I found on here and I have yet to hear from anyone but Chris! If you are looking for a Handyman or have a construction project, stop your search here and send Chris and e-mail! He will call you back and will hold true to his word of "doing it right"!

Their estimate was the cheapest. Chris was very professional and kept me updated with e-mails. The job turned out to be a lot more work for them because of an uneven doorway due to the house settling. After the initial installation, Chris had a helper come once and both of them came again to address a place that wasn't completely sealed. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the job. I would use him again.

We started our job in November 2003. Not only did Chris (owner of the business) and the crew of Do It Right Construction arrive every day, on time and taking no breaks for lunch, they endured some extremely cold (Pittsburgh) winter days. We live on top of a hill and it gets very windy. I'm sure the cold temperatures along with the wind made it feel like 20 degrees below zero. Their work ethic and work product was exceptional in every way possible. The guys installed a 162' wood shadow box fence, a 210' chainlink fence, a 38' set of timber/concrete steps w/railing and a 29'x 3-1/2' Versa-Lok retaining wall. We decided to continue keeping them busy and had them put together an 8' x 8' vinyl shed and our children's wood playset (with appropriate depth of ground protection underneath) and over the next few weeks they will be planting 12 arborvitae trees on a very steep slope as well as plant 100+ juniper blue rug plants (also on a very steep slope). DIT continues to amaze us with their dedication and the lengths that they will go to insure customer satisfaction. They continlue to produce outstanding results and often too offer up suggestions that are doable and affordable. They are thinking persons that have the ability to look a job and forsee problem areas. We still consider them our go-to-contractor and consultant and for any future job(s) that we might do - they will definitely get the first bid.

I have never been more pleased with anyone that has ever worked for me. Chris has helped us through our budget and done superior work. Chris and his crew have been a joy to have around our home and I have already referred him to my friends and clients(I am a Realtor).
