On 9-15-2017 Duane with Dockmaster USA is finishing up replacing a deck on my house. While most would think taking over 3 days to do what I wanted, Duane made sure that everything he was doing was quality work and even though the deck is not completed as I am writing this, the quality of his workmanship is evident. I was fortunate to be working from my home while Duane was working on the deck and he would consult with me on everything before starting the next stage of the project. I would definitely work with Dockmaster USA again and recommend this John, Duane and crew to everyone that may ask.

John did a super job of clean up. The quality of the lattice arbor he constructed and painted was exactly what we wanted.

Mike and Zac did a great job rebuilding the deck I had in place... They took the time to properly re-level the existing structure and worked well into the night to get the job done when planed (a revised plan). Though the job took more time/money then was estimated up front, it was needed extra work and still well under the bids of two other competitors. I would readily recommend Mike and Zac if you have need of deck work.

John was great to work with and very responsive. He listened to me and what I wanted to do and was very genuine about his suggestions to keep my price where I needed it. The end product turned out great and we are discussing a second project that I want to complete. His employees were friendly and did a very solid job.

Nightmare project, it's still not over. The job was delayed forever, a subcontractor was hired to do the stone work that Dockmaster couldn't do and now Dockmaster isn't being an ethical business partner and paying the subcontractor. Instead, they choose to let the subcontracter sue us for payment for their services. We paid Dockmaster in full and now they won't pay for the work that they couldn't do. Dockmaster quality of work was sub-par, had to come out and fix their mistakes and poor quality countless times. Thanks Dockmaster for allowing your customer to be sued by your subcontractor.

Selecting a contractor for a job is always a crapshoot. In the end you don't know what you don't know and when the work gets started you really never know if it will end well. Dockmaster was one of several who placed a bid to replace a deck which had collapsed. John was neither the highest nor the lowest. But his bid was more detailed and struck me as the most professional of the lot. I am very pleased to say that my instincts were right this time. The quality and timeliness of the work was excellent and the new deck superior to the old one. Would highly recommend and will use again.

Ensure nothing is left with out being written down on a contract. Manager seems to have a volatile personality and if mistakes are made, don't expect these to be resolved to your satisfaction.

We are loving our new deck. They did an excellent job and their communication was great if they were running late or needed to change the date. Very pleased and would highly recommend!

They were very professional and completed the project in a timely manner due to very cold weather. They incorporated a sentimental cross into the dock and kept the costs to a minimum. Work was done in a timely manner. John worked around my time schedule. The new deck is much better than the one that was replaced. Good value for the money. I would hire them again for any other projects. I have already recommended this company to 2 friends.

i was extremely pleased with the work John performed on the deck - he leveled the (sinking) deck to what it was years ago and added extra concrete to help stabilize the deck. i would hire them again and will recommend docmaster to others that need deck repairs. good job and thanks again! good experience, trustworthy and honest too! would hire 'em again in a heartbeat!

The owner is very professional, courteous, and was extremely flexible about modifying our deck design to suit our needs, even as the construction was progressing. John has worked on two deck-related projects over the last two years. He installed cedar roofing planks a couple years ago. Today he stained the walk surface and bench seat area with stain of my choice. I would recommend him for his professional work and reasonable prices. He knows what he's doing.
