Dr. Door

We had Dr Door replace our garage door opener 5 years ago. It has been functioning perfectly until the last few days. The install was easy and he was quite good to work with then. Recently our garage door was open when we hadn't opened it creating concern about the security of our home and property. When I called Dr Door, Tyler made arrangements to come out the very next morning due to our security concerns. He fully checked out the system and reset it so that if someone else had had access somehow that would be stopped. He replaced the remote battery that was dead, moved the outside controller as needed and reset and checked out everything. He was very good about educating us as to how everything worked and the security of our system such that it was not at all likely that someone else had our info. We removed the battery backup so that we could unplug the unit and know that no one could get access at night. In the morning when we put the system back on, our door began behaving erratically and in looking at everything it quickly became clear that one of the remotes was going crazy and badly malfunctioning. Disabling this remote fixed this fully. All of this was made easier and clearer due to: 1. Dr Doors quick response to us. 2. Dr Doors thorough process in checking out the system including replacing that battery to the bad unit which clarified the problem. 3. Dr Door's providing great education about this unit and how it works and what to do.. 4. Dr Door quick action when he knew we still had a problem: He had called also the manufacturer prior to us seeing that this was the remote and was making plans to come again to again work to resolve this. Overall he provided great service, reasonable response, honest and quick response to what was a concerning situation and helped us a great deal. We recommend him to anyone needing these kinds of services.

Tyler was great. He called and let me know when he would arrive. He was knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and gave advise on maintaining the garage door.
