Doctor Patch

TL; DR: These guys are top notch â hire them if you get the chance! Iâ m not the type to write reviews, especially when a company asks for one (which they did). That said, I was of a mind to write this review anyway. Dr Patch did beautiful work for us. It is seldom that one comes across service providers that are not only competent and careful, but also extremely passionate about their work. Leo, the owner, has made the stucco trade his passion. It is clear from the way he looks at the stucco and can immediately identify the type (and knows that the company that originally produced it had gone out of business, but that there were, nevertheless, a few suppliers that could get the material). Leo talks about stucco the way a master chef talks about knives, pans and markets or an artist talks about color and shadow. He is especially animated about the way some of his industry peers lack respect for the craft and mess up the process, requiring him or other competent providers to redo what was done poorly. Leo is that rare â old-world craftsmanâ type that youâ d expect to be building handmade furniture â except the trade he applies his craftsmanship to is stucco repair. The guys that work under him, predictably, also do a super high-quality job. They went above and beyond in making certain that the jobs were performed beautifully (we tore down a sunroom attached to our house. They needed to patch the 20+ holes, match old stucco to new, redo the bottom area (I forgot what it was called, but this had deteriorated unbeknownst to me), patch and fix the electrical panel, and finally repaint the entire side of the house.). More than this, they were extremely careful to not leave any trace that they were ever there (other than a nice looking new wall. During the few times we interacted, they were friendly and professional, also willing to take the time to explain exactly what they were doing and what remaining work needed to be done. I feel very fortunate that we found Dr Patch and would definitely recommend Leo and his team.

We performed a remodel on our master bathroom and changed the size an existing window. Our contractor was unable to return in the timeframe we wanted to complete the outside stucco. We searched stucco repair on yelp and Dr Patch had great reviews. Marta responded quickly to my inquiry and the same day I had a quote performed at my home. The following day our job was completed and matched to our existing stucco- it was perfect! I would recommend Dr Patch for anyone looking for an honest rate and reliable workmanship. Thank you!

We had canned lights put into 2 areas of the house & needed extensive patching in 18 areas of the ceiling, followed by a full repaint of the ceiling. I had interviewed several other contractors, and Leo, by far, was the most informative and experienced. I didn't realize there were so many steps in "patching." Martha set up the timing of the project & was very responsive to all my calls/requests/emails. On the day of the project, Leo came to check in on the process & discussed the details of our project with the floor man (who has been working with Leo 15+ years). Our project was done in a timely fashion (2 days). I'm very happy with the work and the new paint. I would not hesitate to use Doctor Patch again.

Doctor Patch did a great job on repairing our stucco wall next to the Electrical Box. They came on time, were clean and unobtrusive. It was a major job and they completed it in less than one day adding on safety features to code. They even tried to match the stucco paint as much as possible :) Thank you Doctor Patch!

Process was extremely painless from getting a quote to having the repair done. We had an extensive series of cracks resulting from foundation repair, which were all fixed or recommended to be touched up with paint. Would recommend.

We had damage on our walls and ceilings due to a slab leak re-route. Doctor Patch simply had the best quotes around. It was easy to contact them and set the appointment once we agreed we assumed like every other contractor work would be started atleast 1-2 weeks out. They sent someone out the day after we agreed to the work. Everything was completed in our kitchen and garage in 2 days and it looks great. The technician always left the area clean and was meticulous throughout his work. I was surprised it was only 1 guy who did it all. If you need drywall work done, I highly recommend to contact them asap!

We have an adorable mid-century modern with not so adorable stucco issues. With painters scheduled and imminently arriving, Dr Patch estimated our job. It was reasonable; they had done tons of work in the neighborhood that has stood up through time. But... the rain came. Marta from scheduling was amazing, patient and kind. We scheduled, rescheduled and had José show day after day only to be greeted by showers. I canâ t thank them enough for finishing in time for the painters. The walls look great.

I give my highest recommendation on their service and professionalism. I had some water damage on the back corner of my home, which needed drywall and stucco repair. Leo came out and assessed the damage and gave me a quote. Leo and his crew started the very next and were completed in 3 days. Outstanding!

We needed some stucco repaired. I found Doctor Patch on yelp and they quickly responded and came out to give me an estimate. They were very thorough in explaining the process. They completed the work yesterday and I am very pleased. They did a terrific job! Highly recommend.

Had an outside stucco repair that needed to be done as well as some various smaller patch jobs. Leo was very responsive and arrived on time and provided a couple of options and a detailed quote. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few weeks to take care of the problems. The repairs took a few days and Leo kept me updated with the progress as I was out of town. The work was first rate. Not sure about the price as I did not get another bid as I felt comfortable that Leo would do a good job in a timely manner. I would recommend Dr. Patch.

WOW....what a great job. After suffering water damage and mold to our rental master bathroom, we needed a company that would repair our loss to what it was before the flood. Doctor Patch did just that. You can not tell that we had a flood and or mold. Work was done on time and looks amazing. I picked Doctor Patch because of the reviews and I am not disappointed. Our bath repair job was not very big and many other companies did not responded or tried to charge a lot of money....but Doctor Patch did not. We would use them again. Choose Doctor Patch....you will not be disappointed. Leo and his team are the best!

We had a large section of stucco that needed to be rebuilt underneath a window ledge on our patio. Doctor Patch was prompt throughout the process, and their quote was very reasonable. They even patched and painted some minor sections along the same side of the house even though we didn't request it. All in all, a very satisfying experience. I would highly recommend.

Used Dr. patch many years ago, and am glad I chose them again. Had a couple areas that needed major work, and they did a beautiful job of blending it in with the surrounding stucco. It actually looks better than the original. I wouldn't have anyone else to do stucco work after both of my excellent experiences with Dr. Patch.

I am really happy with the work Doctor Patch did on my water damage restoration project on the interior wall of my condo. Leo was very professional in providing a reasonable estimate, and he provided an accurate expectation and timeframe to have the job completed. Great work and I would definitely use them again if needed!
