Who Is Don Baker Greetings: I am Don Baker. I have been painting both interiors and exteriors of fine homes since I was fifteen years old. This is all I do and what I have always done here in the central Ohio area. In 1970, at the age of 24, I started my own business. I have kept the business small and easy to manage---I have no employees other than myself. When you meet me, you are meeting the entire crew. So, you dont have to worry about who else might be coming to work in your home. In order to expand my business, I began taking classes and workshops in faux painting, also known as decorative painting or sponge painting. Since 1990, I have been rendering both regular and faux finishes. BEFORE YOU REQUEST A FREE ESTIMATE, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: ►I am the professional that I would hire if I was looking for someone to work for me. ►If you are looking for the cheapest price, I am not your contractor. My bid is NOT usually the highest---nor is it usually the lowest "although sometimes it does happen. It is very hard for me to do EXCELLENT WORK FOR YOU at the lowest price. The lowest bid usually means cutting a corner "or corners" somewhere, however, my pricing is fair for the quality of the work that I will produce for you. The paint that I like to use is SHERWIN WILLIAMS SUPER PAINT. If you have a preference of your own, I will go with that preference. ►I can't do any new projects for at least two weeks. I am usually booked two to four weeks out. ►Although I offer a FREE NO OBLIGATION estimate, I ask you to PLEASE consider the fact that each estimate I do requires a "VERY SIGNIFICANT block of time and "EXPENSE" on my part. For this reason, please request an estimate only if you are "SERIOUS" about having your work started within the next four to six weeks.
