0 stars. He installed a shower that left us with a water feature in our downstairs family room. Other joys of the experience: shower door installed incorrectly, resulting in it literally exploding, cement poured down the drain, crooked tiles, etc. I could go on and on. We had to pay for the bathroom to be redone, and everyone who gave us an estimate was amazed at how terrible it was. Cuyahoga County court docket is free for all to browse. It is enlightening.

Although I did not used them for patio work I did for a shower remodel. I cannot attest what kind of patio work they do but based on my experience it can not be good. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere ! The estimate was very good, communication was good until it was not and they ghosted me and left me with a botched job never to answer my calls or to come finish the job and get paid the other half of money! Unbelievable!

I tried to hire Brian for a basement bathroom addition that I received a grant for - at first Brian was very responsive and it seemed like all would go well. Unfortunately it took him from June to end of November to back out despite not being able to find the appropriate contractors to work with him. When we finally found a plumber for him to work with and he had to go pull permits and get the city drawings for the renovation, he backed out because his guys didn want to do the drawings. After bringing in additional contractors to quote after he backed out I learned that this project would likely not pass inspection anyways and therefore I have wasted time and effort trying to get this project underway. He took a down payment before doing any work / pulling any permits and although he dropped off a check, it bounced and he still has not paid me back in cash or a certified check like I asked. Do not pay him upfront until he does the work - I think that should be standard practice for any contractor - pay as each piece of the project is done.

Brian communicated well, gave a fair price, and did quality work.

Professional service. Fair price. Showed up as promised. Project completed on time. Brian was very easy to work with. He helped us repair paver patio steps that had shifted due to weather erosion and tree removals. Highly recommend.

Brian was great to work with. His skill level was not only extremely high, but he was great with communication and honest in everything he did. Our patio came out just as we would’ve hoped. His work ethic as well is something that many of us, no matter what our profession, could take after. Our overall experience was just awesome.

I quoted 3 people and Brian was the most fairly priced. However, his quality of work was the very top level! He ripped out my shower tub and tiled floor to ceiling with a built in shelf and rain head shower head. He also installed a new double sink vanity. The finished project is flawless! He was quick to respond to emails and a great communicator throughout the entire project.

Brian does quality work and is very professional. He quickly responded to all our questions and requests. He kept us informed of the project timeline and even finished a day early. I would highly recommended Donahue Contracting! We are very happy with the work and the look of our new patio!

Brian and his team are fantastic. Extremely responsive and answered all my questions as they came up. They completely gutted and redid our backyard patio, installed new fencing, and built new stairs. They helped with design suggestions and presented options as the project moved forward. Best pricing we found. We've gotten so many compliments and our yard is now the Place to Be. Will definitely hire them again for our next home project!

Brian was wonderful to work with. He was always on time and had great communication, He was always available for questions and if there were any issues he was on it right away with no hesitation. He did not add any additional charges. What he quoted is what he billed. He pulled out old bathroom shower tub flooring and vanity. He tiled shower and floor and installed new tub and vanity. He also pulled up some bushes in my front and back yard . Very happy with his work

I am always very skeptical using contractors. This experience was a pleasant surprise as Bryan was top notch. He was professional, on time, did a great job and even finish the job earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again for future contracting projects. 110% reliable which is really rare with contractors these days. The patio, fire pit and stairs came out amazing. Canâ t stress it enough great work.

Courteous, hardworking, and meticulous. Issue with color of pavers but quickly resolvef. Repaired lawn where equipment made ruts. Very pleased with their work. The extension to our patio is awesome.

Totally awesome job. I am so pleased with the end results. Our new front steps look amazing and complement the front of the house beautifully. I do not typically post reviews, however our positive experience with Brian and his team prompted this post. While planning our project we did extensive research into contractors. We were surprised to read such positive reviews from so many. It seemed almost too good to be true. A contractor who communicates quickly, is fairly priced and finishes projects on time seemed impossible. These qualities could not be more true of Brian. Throughout the entire process Brian communicated very quickly and was the consummate professional. He turned our vision of a backyard oasis into a reality. We couldn t be happier with the finished project and would highly recommend Donahue Contracting. We look forward to working with Brian and his team in the future.

Brian and his team are amazing! He went above and beyond my expectations! They are very professional, prompt, thorough, talented, knowledgeable, hard working, and conscientious. I would very highly recommend him and his team to to do any project that needs to be done around your yard or home. When I met with Brian to look at my patio project he checked off everything on my list before I even asked! I knew he was the right guy to do the job. I am a perfectionist and it takes a lot to impress me and his work exceeded my expectations, my patio turned out absolutely awesome!!! If you need anything done this is the company to use! I would ve gave them six stars out of five if it was possible!!!

Brian was AMAZING! I had some regrading done last year by some one else and they messed up my yard causing my basement to get water in it. I called Donahue Landscaping and Brian was very quick to ease my concern about the regrade, he said he'd make it right and he did. He was kind and punctual. Got the job done when he said he would. He was very transparent with me. I am going to hire him again to get some other things fixed on my house! Thank you so much!
