I meet with Matt Denato about providing estimates to repair decks at 2 properties, he set up a meeting, and after that, he said that each deck inspection would be $167.00 that for me to crawl underneath the deck and determine the condition so I can give you an accurate estimate for repairs, he only charged me for the deck at the rental because that is the one he needed to crawl underneath. , he met me at both properties after a week we texted, and I waited for him for 6 weeks, when I followed up with him he said he would not give the estimate since he was working on a large project, the same as the next day, and the 3rd day he said he had no intention to provide an estimate. I told him that I relied on him for the estimate and if he was not providing it that I would like to get a refund for the money paid. He said he spent time, I answered we both spent time and my time was spent in relicense of his representation that an estimate would be forthcoming, his response was because he spent the time he would not refund the money paid, I said yes but I received no benefit for the money I paid you in reliance on your performance, so no money, no time no benefit is my position. as the estimate was not received a refund is demanded, and I was harmed by waiting for him. I drove to meet this man at the tenant's home, I spent the time I was harmed by being delayed on getting other estimates for being waiting on him. the least he could refund the money paid, he cased me for more than that.

I have since hired Donato construction for 3 more projects. I have now found an honest reliable and reasonably priced Licensed Contractor.

Matt was very easy to work with, and went above and beyond on the drywall repair from some extensive plumbing that had occurred. He worked with me and with the plumber to be sure everything was left in better condition than when we started. I can't recommend him highly enough and plan to use him for any home repairs we have in the future.

Matt was extremely professional. We had a glass patio slider that my husband and I have been struggling with to open and close. Matt had to rebuilt the rollers with metal ones and the door works like new. Had we known the price was this reasonable, we would have had it repaired a long time ago. I would recommend Matt to anyone.

Excellent work and great value. A nice person to deal with . Quick estimates and Matt went above and beyond what he needed to do. He make sure the repair would last. I've hired contractors that did the minimum they could get by with. You won't find that with Matt. Excellent work for even small jobs.

What a great experience. Matt was on time. He took the old runners off two of my doors I could no longer push open. They were so old. They now work like a dream. Everything was put back the way it was. He is so professional I intend to hire him again when the need arises. I am very pleased.

Called Matt and he was able to come within 45 minutes and give me an estimate. The next day he came and completed my door frame repairs. VERY professional (took his shoes off and was very clean), experienced and friendly. I would hire him again - VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT!

Matt and Brad were always on-time and kept us well-informed on the status of the project. They were friendly, helpful and very conscientious. I felt very comfortable leaving them here alone while I went about my daily routine. I would use them again for any other projects.

He actually ended up patching two cracks in my walls and did an excellent job. He is a contractor and can do multiple services.

They wre not able to install the closet doors correctly be cause of a quarter round moulding that was in the way.
