Tankless Water Heater - Install
I was quoted $2,350 by Done Right Plumbing Services for a Recirculating tankless hot water system and remove my old water heater. Derrick installed a NON-RECIRCULATING unit and tried to pass it off as a more expensive RECIRCULATING unit. He offered to come back and install the recirculating plumbing that he failed to contractually complete. I called him an idiot because I verified from the factory that there is no where to connect such hose to my 180S2 Navien unit. I needed the 180A2 RECIRCULATING unit. In laymans terms, my Non-Recirculating system takes 38 seconds to get hot water to my kitchen sink, six feet away! A Recirculating system provides hot water to all faucets, both instantly and continuously. Derrick is non-repentant and tells me that I have to pay more for any upgrades. Man is deceitful and failed to live up to his written contract. Note: according to Navien headquarters, Derrick is neither trained nor certified to install their products. He remains belligerant. I am taking him to small claims court. I paid him $2,200 via check after some negotiating. Be very careful.
