At the end of the installation of the door it started raining so the contractor could not finish caulking the jams that were recovered with aluminum and I have he still hasn't this was 3-4 weeks ago when he installed the door and he still hasn't come back to finish the caulking and I constantly call and he has one excuse after another

We decided not to have our garage door replaced just yet -- didn't want to spend $700 or so. Duct tape will hold that one together for now! He did a great job replacing a very old storm door on the font of our house. We had already purchased a replacement door from Home Depot. So, he installed the new door and repaired a side storm door (damaged by a windstorm) the same day for just $100.

Within 30 minutes of filling out the servicemagic on-line form Terry, with Door Specialties, called to arrange an appointment time. Terry arrived the same day at my home to measure the garage door spring that had broken and committed to returning the next day to replace it. Next day Terry returned spring in hand and replaced the broken spring within 15 minutes. He spent time answering other questions I had regarding my garage doors and a rusting entry door, as he also installs doors. I will be hiring Terry to replace an entry door in the next 3 months and recommend Door Specialties highly. Price for spring replacement = $85.00 (labor & parts)

Absolutely horrible. Not professional at all. Time management skills terrible. Kept telling me he would be here "tomorrow" but would not show up. This went on for one month. Kept putting other jobs in front of mine, but expected payment right away when work was finally completed, which was a rush job. Was much more trouble dealing with than should have been.

I contacted this co from out of town for my mother who needed a screen door installed. Her experience was positive. The price quoted included pick up of the door at Menards and removal of the old door. She felt the price was reasonable and his workmanship very good!
