Double Check Inspect

He rescheduled several times and was still 45 minutes late. Once he finally arrived he was very confident that the roof that got replaced 4 years ago needed to be redone within the next 3-5 years. But, he told me he had a guy that could do it and gave me his guy's phone number. I had to pay to bring in an expert to check out the roof. This guy got up on the roof and checked out the quality of not only the shingles but also the structure of the roof. The roof expert told me the roof looked great and didn't need to be worked on for another 20 years. Overall the rest of the inspection went well. I was not very happy about having to pay for the roof to get inspected again after already paying Justin to inspect the house. This caused a couple weeks of added stress in the already stressful house buying process.

I hired Double Check to do an inspection for a personal decision of "Repair or Replace". Justin came out, performed the inspection, took photographs and answered all my questions. He found some issues like a few shingles missing, popped nailheads and the like. We discussed the Repair or Replace decision. Very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Did a great job wit the inspection and I feel a lot more confident about the move. The only downside was he showed up a half hour late. I'm sure it happens from time to time, but it is something to be noted if you are in a time crunch.

He was very professional on the phone, showed up an hour late with his family in the car on the way to the hospital. He walked around the house with one of the owners adult children who filled him in on what was new, old, or needed attention. He made a comment that he made his job a lot easier, in fact he really did not do a satisfactory job at all. Never went up on the roof , into the crawl space or in the attic. He never looked under the sinks in the bathrooms or checked the appliances. Even the realtor mentioned, he did not do through job.

My first impression of Justin was over the phone. He was clear about what he does, very personable and just seemed to be very real and honest. He came out and seemed happy to answer all of my questions about his findings. He also gave me quick-fix and long-term solutions to each and every problem that he found with my home. He was patient, kind and thorough and I would highly recommend him to any friends and family that ever were in need of a home inspection.

Justin did a great job. He was punctual and thorough. He walked through with me to explain in laymen’s terms issues that required my attention. I would hire him again.

Justin called and texted me, set up appointment he showed up on time. He wrote up issues with our house. Great Job!

My inspector did not throughly go through my house and inspect everything I asked for and paid for I am very disappointed with my experience with this man. He was very nice but inspecting the house was bad. I wish I didn't spend as much money as I did

Price was good, inspection was done thoroughly and within a great time frame

Justin couldn't tell me if the furnace, stove and water heater worked. Stove didn't ignite emmediately so he assumed it was turned off. Myself and my realtor checked it out and found out that the gas was on and we checked the furnace,stove and water heater.
