About us
Doug Andrews has forty-five years of professional experience in the landscape horticulture and related industries. He is a Certified Arborist with a master's from Texas A&M in Agricultural Education. He worked as an AgrilLife Extension Agent where he taught agricultural producers, turf managers, landscapers, irrigators, and pest control operators the latest in research based, unbiased technology to keep them on the cutting edge of their areas of expertise. After retirement in 2010, he continued to utilize his education and experience serving people in N. Dallas by founding Double D Landscapes. Doug continues to work closely with current owner Dale Steere. Dale started in the outdoor industry when he started in golf course maintenance in 2007. In 2015, Dale and a friend founded a vineyard in Collin county with over 2000 vines. He and his crew also maintain many luxury properties in Collin and Dallas counties with his landscape maintenance business. Double D was a natural fit for Dale

"While we do strive for perfection in color matching, as explained prior to job commencement sometimes it is impossible to get a 100% match on pre stained wood( or adding new rock to old )when compared to unstained wood.
