We were left with a mountain of concrete mistakes and errors and a disappearing contractor who didnâ t complete his job! His work has to be ripped out and redone, both costly ventures. And worse, payment was requested early so another issue. The original work was messy, leaving concrete splatters stuck on brick, stucco, windows, doors. Then their floating equipment broke while the concrete was wet. They had no backup equipment, much less tools to fix. They borrowed our personal tools for work multiple times. This unpreparedness caused visible issues right away. Rocks stayed at the surface in large spots and brushed finish was uneven and crumbly. We raised concerns but were told the concrete flaws would â blow offâ when dry. They did not and in fact after it dried, the finish was so extremely rough and uneven it could not comfortably be walked on with bare feet. There were also waves in the concrete from where they tried to float after it was too late. There were also large footprints in the slab that hold water and chairs canâ t sit flat. When they eventually returned, they used a hand tool to sand the top layer of concrete. The sanding was heavy, end to end. After complete, they casually mentioned the tools were new and tested in a personal driveway the night before. Big red flag a little too late! The slab did feel smoother after sanding but looked â uglyâ because of the waves and unevenness and also still had footprint indentions. They talked about fixing the footprints, however noted the material could likely crack and flake so we left them. Doucet himself left that day saying our job â looks good from far but FAR FROM GOODâ . Not nice to people who paid regular price for quality work and received this in return. Shortly after this sanding experiment, the situation got even worse. The slab was hosed to rinse sanding dust and a chunk of concrete popped out, exposing a 2â wide piece of wood that came out to make a bigger hole. More holes appear every day, countless ones of various sizes end to end. The deepest is a few inches, enough for a manâ s finger. Doucet openly acknowledged every problem listed and promised to make them right. A tear out and redo was mentioned by him more than once as the true fix he could offer. Before moving forward though, he wanted his concrete supplier to inspect the mix. The supplier came out to look but identified Doucetâ s errors as the problem. We then asked to move forward with the redo but Doucet suddenly flipped and said he wouldnâ t cover replacement costs anymore. He told us weâ d have to pay hundreds MORE to have his mistakes removed and redone or weâ d have to accept an attempt at resurfacing, notably with the material he himself discouraged us from using for to the footprints because of questionable life. We asked for pictures of that work, but the only ones provided were where Doucet tried a resurface at his house the night before. Not another gamble we wanted to take. We got other professional opinions. They said our slab issues were due to obvious and avoidable errors and also noted that sanding had removed the thin surface layer of finished concrete thatâ s supposed to remain to cover rock from being visible and popping out and other issues we continue to have. They also agreed a patch or resurface would have limited life comparative to what we paid and being there were so many continuous issues throughout, a rip out and redo was best. We reluctantly agreed to his request for more money to complete. We asked for a revised contract and to start as soon as possible as he said. He never came then didnâ t answer calls or texts then one day responded he wasnâ t coming. He left expensive mistakes that have to be taken out and the job start anew. He essentially stole thousands and cost thousands more.

It was a very enjoyable experience working with Connor Doucet in replacing my driveway. He listened to what I wanted done and completed the work in a timely manner. His crew was very efficient and completely cleaned up after the pouring. I would highly recommend his services.

Connor and his team were amazing!! He gave me great ideas for my driveway and the installation went better than expected!! He kept me informed of the process every step of the way and evendors helped me out with other issues. I will definitely use them again.

So basically they over quoted the job agreed to a lower price and when they could not complete it for that price, tried to get me to pay more by not completing the work. Will never use them again. Hired them to install culverts across my property and fill in a pond. Things started off good. They showed up right away, and we agreed on a low price. They showed up at odd hours to work including working at night until 9 pm with no notice of when they were coming. They made ruts in my property that they said they would fill and never did. They did not complete the culvert install because they calculated the culverts wrong and wanted me to pay more for them to finish the job. The culverts were installed backwards and not graded correctly. One of the drain lines was not even connected to the culvert and I had to replace it myself because I have yet to get any return calls or texts from them.

These guys were great! Aiming to please their customers with quality and hard work!! Couldnà ¢à  à  t ask for a better group of guys!! Great job!

We had drainage problems in the back yard and they graded the yard and redid the drains. They were timely, friendly and very reasonably priced. They have followed up after the rains to make sure it s working properly. They did a great job!

He did a good job and did what I asked.
