We rated these 1/2 stars because there are no minus ratings. We had a total inside repair job that included sheetrock, painting, moldings, ceilings, insulation, and the such. For the most part, ALL of the crown moldings were cut incorrectly and have to be torn out because large gaps (1/4 in. plus) were filled with caulk and is highly visible. The bathroom, now a total disaster, has to be torn out, sheetrock in there does not come close to fitting, there are 1/4 to 1/2 in. gaps where you can see plumbing in the linen closet. Molded molding that appeared to be scrape as some were split, was painted over and used around the shower. There are areas of the sheetrock throughout the house that have very ruff feeling places on it. When the lights are on, visible patch areas, just painted over. The kitchen flooring was indescribably chopped up. When asked about one area entering our home, I was told we could put a piece of transition molding there and you would not be able to see it. Four, yes count, four electrical outlets and one telephone jack were covered by sheetrock, one of which was life (left for under cabinet lighting) and did not have electrical tape or anything covering it as our Electrical Contractor had left it because the power box had been replaced and no power was going to the home before sheetrock being put up in the kitchen. If our electrician had not counted and known placement of each could have potentially burnt our house to the ground being behind sheetrock and not visible to the untrained liaison. There is blue painters tape under some of the wall mud repair in the bathroom. We have never experienced such a craft-full and blatant disregard for quality workmanship. Should anyone like to witness via pictures, we will be happy to provide. We provided an option for the work to be torn out and done right on June 1, and have not heard from Douglas Dixon or his sub son. At the 90 day mark, making an assumption here, that they have no intention of making things right.

After paint dried, mixed colors was used to touch up walls. Ceiling painting spotty. Will not return calls or reply to text. Very disappointing. Planning on suing them if not response in 30 days

Responds quickly to questions by text or phone call. Began work when they said they would and made any adjustments without problems. House repair and paint job looks great!

After hurricane Michael, my house needed a lot of attention, and this company provided it. The through repair of damaged/rotted wood was excellent. The painting was also very well done, with a lot of brushing to work the paint into the wood siding. The men were hard workers, and did a superb job. I highly recommend this company.

Too many internal problems with this business. Too much turnover in subs. Timeline promised 1 week. Took 7 weeks. I think this business has too many jobs going to complete each job effectively. Nice owner. I m sure he can address these problems to improve his business. He is well aware of the affect.

Dougs crew did a great job of replacing some bad siding, replacing rotten wood on decks and steps and doing a complete exterior paint job.

We were very pleased with the work they did. We hired them to paint our new home and they did an excellent job. They were very responsive to anything we needed and I highly recommended them.

I couldn't be happier with the result! Doug immediately responded to my request for a quote and met with me to review the job right away. In addition to exterior painting, Doug quoted replacement of the privacy fence. His team started both jobs the following week, tenaciously worked around (and through) rain showers and completed the work in a very timely manner. The fence team was happy to add on an additonal privacy panel to screen the garbage container and ensured that the gate works smoothly...and will for the long term. The painter was highly skilled and made the house look beautiful! He very carefully cleaned the exterior, caulked as needed and meticulously applied the base, trim and accent colors just as I pictured. He went above and beyond my expectations, including pressure washing the walks and driveway so that the entire exterior looks shiny and new! Doug and both teams were highly professional, friendly and clearly take great pride in the work they do. It is my pleasure to recommend them and I will definitely hire them for future projects.

Very easy to work with. Went out of his way to please

Doug was able to get his guys out and get our (privacy) fence up in record time. From the day he came to bid on the job until the day the last post was hung was about 15 days. The installers were extremely polite and well mannered and felt like old friends by the time the work was done. Will not o my use Doug for other projects, but as a Realtor I will reccomend him and his installers to clients.

They were polite, showed up on time, the workmanship was good and they did a good clean up, for a reasonable price.
