I chose Douglas Mechanical for the sales and installation of my American Standard A/C and heating system. Additionally, I chose to pay extra yearly for an enhanced service plan which included waived service calls. At the time of installation, I asked for surge protection on both the inside unit and the compressor outside. Last week I had a power surge that took out the inside surge protector and my service call on 10/20 did reveal this. Fortunately for me, the rest of the system was saved by this device. The service tech advised me that the replacement surge protector was 349.00 dollars. I am not a complete fool and quickly looked for the price of this exact part online and found the average price from three vendors was 50 dollars. I contacted the office and a lady there said that was the price, but she would take 20 percent off because I was a Platinum member. Seeing how I pay extra yearly (249.00) for waived service calls, this is still unacceptable. I will take the burn this time, but I will seek help elsewhere in the future.

I was truly appreciative that the response was within hours of my request for service as well as Technician, Brentons arrival to diagnose and restore my AC in this sweltering July Texas heat. The phone contact was informative, very pleasant, and courteous. Brenton was professional and thoughtful. All COVID considerations were carefully executed. Thanks and God bless you all!

They came out to install my central air these guys was great they knew what they was firing. They install it about 2 hours I'm a customer for life now.my salesman was Mark he explained everything to me and he would not leave until I understood everything, he also gave me great price something I could afford. Thank you guys

I was told by the company that installed and has always serviced my unit that I needed over a thousand dollars worth of work. I contacted Home Advisor to get some other bids. Douglas Mechanical reached out immediately and sent someone out within a couple of hours. The technician showed me that two of the things the other company said needed to be done were simply not true. The third thing, which did need to be replaced, cost me $295. Best call I've made! Douglas has my business and my loyalty now.

Chris was very professional and honest about what was going on with our central air conditioning system and made some great recommendations as for what I needed and I m waiting on an Energy Advisor to follow up with me and give me all available options and what to do next. I m looking forward to working with this company for a long time and they need more people like Chris. Thanks chris and Douglas Mechanical.
