We had a reclining couch repaired to fix the recline mechanism. When complete it was difficult to use but we were told it was normal. Now, 3 months later, it is once again not reclining. We do not feel it was fixed correctly and we are out the money with a non-functioning reclining couch. We have called multiple times but the calls are not returned.

the contractors that contacted me ask for pictures of the job and sent back estimates.... their prices were double and sometimes tripled.. Douglass Roger's visited My home and his pricing was fair for what needed to be done

Doug was a pleasure to work with. He came out and really took his time to determine how he would restore my mother s wicker chairs. He was true to his word and the chairs came out beautifully! We ll be working with him again!

We first got quotes from Geneva Decorating LLC and Alexander Upholstery. We had a new white sofa that was scuffed on part of one corner. Geneva Decor said: "$845 Plus $$ for trucking". Alexander Upholstery said:"$950 for labor then additional $$ for pickup and delivery. Doug said, "$350 and I'll fix it in your home". When we told him we'd only be in NY for the weekend, he still showed up Sunday A.M., even given such short notice. He got immediately to work and was finished in less than 2 hours. These other upholstery companies dramatized the scuff mark and tried to scare us into thinking it was so bad, it needed to be picked up and taken somewhere for days. We scrutinized every detail of the reupholstered area of sofa; just a stellar job. We're keeping this business card around for good.

Doug performed magic on a wooden table top, which had been broken in an accident. He repaired the damage with great skill and care and has completely restored my table. Doug is a gentleman and his services are reasonable. Highly recommended.
