Eddie and his crew did a great job on painting the exterior of our home along with fixing our roof and some other odds and ends. They were always on the job on time, did amazing work, and were always making sure we were happy with the progress. We would highly recommend them for their superior work and great customer service!

Home owner be wary. Downeast Homes & Renovations (Eddie Woodbury) was engaged on a massive project adding a second floor and remodeling other parts of the house. The work was faulty. The windows installed on the first floor were just inserted into the rough openings and nailed in and taped on the outside. No flashing the inside of the sill, no wrapping the tyvek, no silicone. Anyone watching a YouTube video could do better. Plus not one of the walls is square, and the majority of door openings are wrong. Measurements were on a full set of drawings done by an architect, so is no excuse. When we went to install eight doors upstairs, only one door fit. The other openings were wrong by more than 3 to 6 inches, too small, too big and out of square. Eddie went $50,000 over the estimates, largely due to his absence from the job site for three weeks and his crew not working when he was gone. He demanded we pay to get him to continue working. Then Eddie ghosted us. We started in October 2023, and Eddie repeatedly promised to have the job done by moving day (which was initially January and then pushed to February 2024 due to lack of progress). 3 days before moving day, Eddie was no where to be found and he had his guys pack up all the tools and leave in the morning without any notice. He wouldn't return calls or messages. He told the plumber he wasn't getting paid, but Eddie had received $45,000 over the course of prior 30 days. Anyone who uses Eddie Woodbury/Downeast Homes & Renovations should be very diligent on withholding payment and checking the work with a level, square, and tape measure. He had wanted us to pay for fixing his crew's mistakes and pay more when the work didn't get done. When we didn't jump to write him more checks without progress and fixes, he walked. That's who Eddie Woodbury is.

Exceptional workmanship and fair prices. Eddie also installed hardwood floors that are absolutely beautiful. He removed and replaced floor in my 100 year old garage. Escavated and made a beautiful gravel walkway around the garage. He's an excellent painter and no job is too challenging or too small. Eddie is dependable, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

They replaced our 6'x6' front deck with a new 12'x12' deck. Did the job on time and on budget! We now spend a lot of our summertime on the front deck grilling and relaxing!
