Since Dr. Green was notified that I chose his service from the list of recommended contractors, he was able to contact me. When my phone rang, I had just stepped off of a flight in the BWI airport to catch a connecting flight. I told the caller as much, but he continued to talk. When the caller asked me a question, he cut me off to make his point. I was told that dethatching would damage my grass, so he didn’t recommend it. He said he would aerate, but in the Fall. He offered free aeration if I allowed him to provide lawn services in seven applications. I reluctantly agreed because I had already purchased products the previous Fall and wanted to apply those. I was under the impression that I would be charged as the applications were completed. Instead, I was charged for 7 applications at once. This way, if I wasn’t satisfied, it was too late. I was still pulling dandelion weeds from my grass in October and the aeration service never happened because they didn’t have enough technicians. It’s too late now. Chicago already had snow flurries this weekend. I paid another company $85 to come out a week ago to aerate my lawn and prepare it for the winter. I cut it pretty close waiting around for Dr. Green. I cancelled the automatic renewal of services for 2019. Don’t make any more house calls to my address.

I used them last year and didn't like the service. Had to call them back several times to take care of weeds. As with all these types of companies, they automatically roll the service over to the next year. On April 4th, 2018, I sent them notice thru their "contact us" portal on the website, to discontinue my service. I stated they were too expensive , didn't like their service and would be using a different company. The automated message said someone from customer service would contact me in 1-2 business days. Then, on April 11th, they did a service on my lawn. I left messages on their 800 number on 4/12 AND again on 4/13. On 4/12, I also went back on their website and did the "contact us" version. FINALLY, I hear from a sales manager this Saturday, 4/14. I told him about the extremely bad customer service. He did offer to remove the charge from my bill. I asked him to follow up with an email confirmation to me stating he was removing the debit. I did check my account online and I no longer have a debit. That is the only reason I gave them a 1 on customer service, otherwise it would have been .5!!!

I was pleased with the timely response. Only had one service call so can not comment further until I see results.

Dr. Green's team aerated and over seeded lawn last fall, new grass made it through the winter and already greening up my lawn. Plan to have them back this spring. Pricing a little high, but quality is there.

I was told they would come and perform the aeration within 3-5 days. A week laker I was told it would be another 3-5 days until they could tell me when it would be done. From what I can tell they are just a broker of services and rely on local companies to do the work for them. I suggest you find yourself the local company and have the service done timely.

We appreciated the prompt reply to our request for tree service and the knowledge of the service man about a disease in another of our trees. He was able to treat that tree at the same time he treated the others. The price was also more reasonable compared to a company we used in the past.

They're very proactive. I get an email a few days before they come so I know when to expect them and they are very unobtrusive. After each visit, I get an email and a note with what service was done, how to go from there, and what, if anything, additional I might need.
