Dragon Ridge Home Inspections

I chose Dragon Ridge Home Inspections because it was advertised that inspector accepts buyer to be around and ask questions to learn about the process and the home. JT was quick to schedule the inspection, and thoughtful of the COVID19 impact (parents with kids, other schedules, etc.). The inspector looked outside and around the home, then strategically moved inside. As an owner I could see the strategy and I was able to hover around and ask questions. JT answered all my questions and even addressed/verified areas that I was pointing out. The report also included a nice 1 page list with minor 15 points to address, which I find it extremely helpful not only when trying to summarize the report, but also after the move-in, during improvements. I was surprised actually to see the educational material the client also receives in the folder, before the report is sent. Another reason for which I chose JT's expertise is the fact that he also performs a RADON test, and since the home has a system installed, it was a no brainer to also ask for a test at this time. I also learned a few aspects about the system, because - as I said - JT is working with the client and for the client. Thank you JT for your great work!

JT has lengthy background in construction and inspection and his years of experience are evident in his process and reporting. In addition to the inspection of the building itself, he also provides testing for mold, radon, and asbestos. We used two of those services and his response time on the test results was quick and on time. The report on his inspection was detailed and lengthy and included an itemized list of primary concern issues to address. He also uses an infrared camera to identify electrical hot spots (of which we have in several junction boxes) and locations where insulation was lacking and allowing heat to enter. Moreover, it was great to have someone unfamiliar with our home investigate and identify things that I simply overlooked (forest for the trees). We are very pleased with JT's detailed work and follow through, we highly recommend his services.

I hired Dragon Ridge Inspections for a new home inspection (pre-drywall). I found the inspector very professional, thorough, and his report provided sufficient details that pointed out several builder deficiencies.
