Dream Boat Docks, LLC

The owner was professional as was his employees. The project was finished in a timely manner and the experience was seamless. Our dock is beautiful and we would highly recommend Dream Boat Docks!

I have never written a review for any contractor but I decided that I had to write this one to prevent others from what I had to deal with. I had a new dock built which included a boat lift as well as two jet ski lifts. I went with Dreamboat because the price was right and timing quoted was aligned with what I wanted. The quality of the work was average but the customer support was abysmal. My dealings were exclusively through Tony who is one of the owners. My biggest concern and irritation was that they / Tony are not dependable are unresponsive to issues / emails. On numerous occasions even before the work started Tony and his crew indicated that they would be on-site to get the job started and essentially didnt show up. I had to make numerous calls to find out why they hadnt shown up and essentially to make threats to cancel the job before they finally showed up. We had issues with getting the electrical to our pumps taken care of since Tony indicated that all we needed to do was haven an electrician run the service out to the dock and Dreamboat would take over from there. Tony didnt recall that Dreamboat was going to do the hook-up until he went back and checked the quote. Tony ended up coming over himself to make the hook-ups to the motors versus sending the construction crew (and I assume their electrical experts) back out to fix the problem. The initial staining job done on the deck was horrible and had to be re-done. Once again, it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of Tony to discuss the need to fix the stain issue and then several missed appointment before the crew finally came back to do the job right. Apparently the people who build our lift motor boxes also forgot to install the waterproof membrane. As a result, water seeped into the boxes and blew out the motor on the boat lift. I personally called The Boat Lift Company to come in and take a look at the motor problem and they were the ones who told me that the waterproof seal was never installed and that without it the new motor they installed would likely blow out again. My wife called / texted Tony on multiple occasions to get him out to fix the problems and install the seals. At leas twice he said he would come out to fix it and never, to this day, has shown up to install the seal. What amazes me is that when Tony took the job he mentioned that he had not done any work in Grand Harbor (where I live) and I highlighted to him that this was an opportunity for him to get more business in this sub-division. If he did a good job I would be able to recommend him to others and give him an in-road to a lot of new business. He agreed that this would be a great opportunity for him, none the less, his Dreamboats performance and my experience with them were such that I would strongly advise against using them as a boat dock contractor. Since my dock was installed (which took more than 1 year start to finish....and it's still not finished) a number of my neighbors have had docks installed and none had the issued I did with respect to the horrible customer service I received. Do yourselves a favor, go with one of the other well respected local boat dock installers for your job.

We are extremely pleased. The quality of workmanship is better than we had ever hoped for. These guys are great, They use the highest quality materials and their work is built to last.

Tony paid special attention to what we wanted and made the corrections and effort to make our deck just what we asked for. Same was also for the folks that worked with them, always listening to what I wanted. Always allowed me to ask questions and watch everything they did. I would work with them again without reservation

This company was great to work with. They were timely, they did a great job rebuilding our fishing pier, and most importantly they cleaned up after the job. Totally impressed!

The final product was more than what we hoped for. Tony did a fabulous job.
