Do not hire this guy. Ever. He's dishonest lack integrity and professionalism. He does not stand by his promises. And his work is very very low quality.

First I must say that Douglas Dxxxxx is a smooth talker, present well at first. He makes a lot of promises but he lacks decency and integrity as a man, human being and especially a professional. He and his guy completed the siding first. It immediately started coming loose in several areas and the caulking looks like a kid did it. I pointed it out and the finished product was still very subpar. Today it is still coming loose in some area. The driveway is about 2months installed. There a a huge Crack in it already. Tried several times to contact Douglas but he does not answer. Did not get my invoices either. Its not over. Anyone on here that has had a bad experience with this guy call me { remove phone number} Do not ever hire him. He will do the small job ok.. to win you. Its not over Douglas

After one successful small job, I entrusted douglas to take on a larger flip house. Everything is in shambles and large ticket items are missing. I am in the process of filing a police report to get my items back. After I told him no more money until more progress is shown he ghosted.

I had prior business and Douglas Dotson did a fair j9b so I asked for a quote for a back porch. Received it and paid down $2000 that has said was mostly for materials. After 3 weeks of not being able to get him out to do the work he will not answer calls and appears to have blocked me because I asked him to return my money since he failed to do the job. Now I have to get an attorney involved.

This company changes business names every year or so. Look up punisher contracting, Google the owner's name, to see previous history with the law. Work looks like it was done by third graders. Took a $2,500 deposit and would not return it, I filed a police report, went to the attorney general, and also am taking other avenues to protect other people from being taken... Again the company changes business names quite often just because of these kind of reviews.

We hired Dream Home Construction to replace our 30-year old roof in Mobile last month, and they did a fabulous job. From start to finish, the whole experience was professional and hassle-free. Dream Home were very responsive when I contacted them for a quote and consultation. They sent out a project manager promptly to evaluate our roof and provide an on-site estimate. The quote was comprehensive and clearly outlined every aspect of the project, including approximate timeline, materials to be used, payment terms, and warranty details. The day the crew showed up for the roof replacement, they arrived early and worked efficiently and carefully the whole day long. They made sure the site was clean and protected from debris. The project leader communicated with us each step of the way so we knew what they were working on. They were very skilled at measuring, cutting, and installing the new shingles, and paid close attention to detail. By the end of the day, we had a brand new roof that completely transformed the look of our home from the outdated and worn old tiles. Dream Home were true to their promise on turnaround time, and all work was completed within the time frame provided in the quote and to our utmost satisfaction. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our beautiful new roof from Dream Home Construction. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services. Their customer service, communication, workmanship, and follow through is outstanding. We will certainly be calling them again for future construction or replacement needs.

Douglas Dotson, the owner, was such a polite and seem to have good values. I had problems with this company and it's helpers, not showing up, working two to three hours a day, project dragging on and on, fencing not secure, doors not lined up, lots and lots of issues. I paid $2,600 for a deposit on a porch to be closed in, OSB was put on the outside wall, with gaps in between, after we agreed on plywood. Douglas did not seem to want to talk about the fact that he was supposed to put plywood, it rained for several days, they then came out and put felt over it.. between the very young 16 to 18-year-old helpers, to losing two of my cats because of an unsecured area, no handles on doors, just a complete big mess. Project dragged on and on and on. I have asked for a refund of the majority of my money, minus the OSB, which I shouldn't have to pay for anyway since that is not what we agreed on. I am left with a huge mess for someone else to have to come in and fix. Please Google your contractor's name, before you hire them. I would have had a lot of less headache if I had done that to begin with. I have pictures, videos, emails, and text to back everything up. Douglas will not respond to my email, I contacted the better Business bureau, and someone wrote back and said that this person did not work for them lol, when they clearly had their name on the BBB, with another complaint. Keeping $2,600 on a project that he spent probably 4 hours on putting up the wrong material, is so wrong. If he had refunded most of the money that I asked for, I would not have even left this review... Again, please Google the name of the person before you hire them. Unfortunately I will be taking this to court.

I need him to contact about when is finish our job or not and why

They still have not completed my job, they took the deposit on Aug 25, 2021. Because of them, my home ins has been canceled.

i took a little longer then expected because in rained everyday and sometimes in buckets. but they did good work

The project went way over my budget, but considering the years of neglect that the roofers were challenged with and the inflated cost of materials I guess the cost was fair. They did an excellent job, and were very efficient and cleaned up completely afterwards.

This rating is preliminary. The project is still in process.

The roofers did excellent repair work. I am so pleased with my results. If my roof had been installed by them originally, I do not think my shingles would have come off so easily during Hurricane Sally.

Met with the owner of the business the next day after I spoke with him over the phone about the projects I needed done. After showing what I needed done, he came up with ideas on what to do and immediately got to work on it the next day. I would use the company again!

Got three estimate Everyone said a week are two but I learned from Katrina that I wanted it done ASAP and got same day service. My wife is a local physician and it hard to find people who do what they say when they say but no problem at all will use again.

I appreciate the work done. It was fast and great quality.
