ALERT!!! Absolutely FRAUDULENT business. What a shame. In short, do not use Dream House Builders Demolition, Inc, I know it is hard to find a good contractor nowadays, But NO, if you happen to see my review - Go find someone else. Please listen to my story. (If you want proof, everything is documented in our text messages.) I reached out to Jose in July of 2022, asking if he would be able to do a light concrete work in my little backyard and a garage cleaning work. In the beginning via text communication, things went well. We settled a timeline (late August 2022) and price of $2,000 total. And he asked for $500 deposit, I paid immediately through Zelle (224-818-8473). On Fri, Aug 12, he texted he would be available to work on it the next Monday, Aug 15. But he needed $500 more for purchase of materials. I was happy and said OK, paid another $500 expecting him to come on Monday and get things done. Then NO SHOW anymore! He basically took all of my $1000 and walked away. Wow On that Monday I kept texting him, NO SHOW, NO TEXT, NO CALL! Obviously that day was wasted. On Tuesday, a day after, He finally replied to my texts and said he was in trouble. one of his guys went to the hospital. No picture of proof whatsoever. He said he will come and get it done, later. No date mentioned. I waited a couple days and kept texting him about updates. No responses. Finally I sensed the fraudulence in his business. Quickly send many many texts to him to demand a refund. He then went silent for 3 days. Finally after I almost gave up and write to him that I am going to sue his business, he texted me back and said he is issuing a check but cannot do Zelle. Because he wanted to avoid paying tax if fund going out from Zelle. What is he even talking about anyway. I decided, never mind. I do not think I will ever get back my $1000, so here I am. The least I can do is to tell people what happened to me with Dream House Builders fraudulent business. I am about to write up more to Business Bureau and other agencies who would perhaps help me to file a claim against them. In this world, we need to help each other in difficult times. Not taking advantage of people. Come on.

They demolished a wood shed in my backyard. Quick response, job finished well.

I am updating this review, as I did get a callback and the crew arrived at my home by 10:00 AM. Seems there were issues with their truck in the morning. Though they were late, they did get the job done in one day. They were very efficient, and did an excellent job! I would definitely use this company again and recommend them.
