Concrete Foundation Repair
$4,500
Although the quality of the work was OK the issues I have with this company are as follows: 1.Many times workers did not show up to work with no communication. 2. I had to initiate communication, and phone calls and email went unreturned. 3. Workers did not shield my house or windows from concrete splatter and now I have this splatter all over the rear of my house and cellar windows. They did not clean it up and let it cure so now it can only be cleaned off by damaging the finish of the siding. 4. They still have not finished the job as it is yet to have the edges caulked and the concrete deck sealed. 5. Wall capping has voids.

Good service, and the repair has "held" so far. Although I would have preferred them to explain the process a bit better....the estimator said they would use one crack repair method, and when it came to doing the job, the worker used a different method. Thankfully I knew the method used was the right one, but it led me to believe the estimator was not paying full attention to the job.

They were very polite and helpful but I was extremely disappointed with their follow thru. I had to call several timesbefore and after they started. They were careless about the surrounding property care. I was told that they would return to ck for problems and remove taping and they have not contacted me.

The patio was not level, which now retains water in the center. They left many broken small pieces of concrete all around the patio. There's also huge gaps under two of the corners where they should have made it solid concrete to the ground but wasn't. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know. I wish I could post up pictures of their work.

Concrete Flatwork - Repair & Resurface

Scheduling was excellent and work was done timely. They did a very professional job, and we are very pleased with our new concrete floor in our garage. Some concern that LOTS of driveway patch was used instead of extending the door apron right out to the start of the driveway. We had lots of rain before it had a chance to dry, and water significantly puddled (turning muddy brown from the driveway patch) at the garage door entrance. I am concerned that this might cause drainage problems.

Dry Works of Connecticut EXCEEDED all expectations. Exceptional service was their MO--from Chuck, who came to view the job and price the work, to the workmen who were always polite and had great dispositions, to the office staff who were always there. Additionally, I had estimates from eight other contractors and guess what--Dry Works performed the work for significantly LESS than all the other estimates. There is nothing else to say except--if anybody ever needs help in their area of expertise, I will DEFINITELY refer them to Dry Works of Connecticut, LLC. EXCEPTION\AL!!!

We have worked with them for a number of years and they always do an excellent job. They are a very reputable company and are very hard working and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
