Charged us $540 to replace shingles (we provided the new shingles) that came off in the recent windstorm in 2 very small areas on our house. In the past we've had shingles replaced on this roof in larger areas and paid the companies between $175-$225 for the repairs. When my husband objected to the high price the owner was very rude, stating that he charges over $125 per hour and the cost starts when he leaves his own driveway. Price gouging at it's worst! We had also asked for a quote to replace the front half only of our pole barn (which measures 32 x 40) with metal instead of shingles, and he told we should claim an insurance job, as it would cost more than 6 grand!!! Very dissatisfied and strongly advise NOT hiring this company.
