Okay on the phone to set up the appointment was good. Customer service was good. However, they did not show up for the appointment nor called. So I had to call and reschedule for another day. So the guys came and did not speak which was not the worse deal. He looks at my unit and tells me what was wrong and the total cost. I repeated the cost back which was a reasonable price. However, when the work was complete the price went up to $75 more. So my only problem was let me know before you start adding cost. They fixed my unit fairly quickly and are very knowledgeable. Just work on communication and customer service.

I’m not sure he did any trouble shooting first, just bought the parts he thought he needed. When that didn’t work, he had to buy other parts and then it worked. But I will say, I was not home during the repair and he had a family emergency but still made time for my needs. I will use him again since these factors swayed my opinion.

Setting the initial appointment went smoothly. He was running a little late, but I didn't mind since I got a next day appointment. He was personable and professional. My issue required a second visit and that's where my opinion of this business went downhill. He was supposed to call me Monday night for a Tuesday appointment. The repair would take less than 30mins he had estimated. I never received a call to say what time he could come out or that he needed to reschedule. I took off work to be home for the appointment. I called on Monday night, and texted on Tuesday, no response at all. It's the end of the week and no word or explanation. The reason I rated 5 stars for value for the money is because he didn't charge me for the initial visit. So I have a temporary fix and no permanent solution. I'm not a happy camper.

I was pleased with the call backs and the timing of doing the job. I will reserve more comments to another time and visit. Too soon to tell at this moment.

Reggie work was exceptional, he had my AC up and running in less than 24 hours. Two reasons the 5s aren't across the board. On Friday he was running hours behind and did not contact me. My appointment had been confirmed 4 days before the service date and I was on a very tight timeline with another appt. Second, the price was about $1k over the top range of pricing estimates I've seen on Home Advisor and other sites. I travel extensively so shopping around wasn't an option. As long as the work holds up, I will say it was worth every penny. Reggie did say Dunson stood behind the work and gave me his cell # if I had any issues.

Reginald was very punctual, in fact, he was 5 min early and ready to service our AC. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient in his job performance. We were very impressed and HIGHLY recommend him and his company. Also, the price of his service was very reasonable. I'm sure others would have charged far more for the same type of service. The guy that came out to service our home name was Reggie I believe He called and offered to come out first thing the next morning. He came out and thoroughly inspected our ac unit. He gave us options and advice for the future! I would definitely use Dunson Mechanical in the future!
