"We're genuinely sorry this project did not end with the outcome either of us wanted. Concrete polishing is a process that reveals the existing characteristics of the slab, and this particular floor presented conditions that became apparent as work progressed. Rather than walking away, we devoted time beyond the original schedule trying to improve the result, brought in an independent concrete polishing contractor for a second opinion, and explored multiple solutions while absorbing a significant financial loss ourselves in an effort to reach a fair resolution. We do feel it's important to correct a few factual statements in this review. The floor was cleaned between each stage of the polishing process, and we never demanded payment beyond our original contract. We also continued working toward a solution after concerns were raised because standing behind our work is important to us. We understand that the homeowner is disappointed with the final appearance, and we respect their right to share that opinion. We simply disagree with several of the factual conclusions about what occurred. Our commitment has always been to communicate honestly, treat customers fairly, and make every reasonable effort to resolve challenges when they arise. After seeking further advice from industry professionals to learn what we can one theme has emerged; the challenges we faced on this project are common in residential basements. Therefore, we no longer offer this specific service (mechanical concrete polishing for residential slabs)."
