Dutchman Remodeling

Worked with Dutchman Remodeling to complete a relatively small project demolishing a fireplace and closing off a wall. Could not be any happier with my experience working with Shane. He came out quickly to look at the job and give a timely quote, which was straightforward and completely reasonable . He worked with me patiently as my loosely conceived plan changed a few times. Even before we had officially committed to the job, he reached out to follow-up with some useful thoughts about how best to do the work. He kept me informed about the timing of the job, and when he estimated 3 days, he was right on target. Shane knew what he was doing, and also didn’t seem to mind me poking around to watch what was happening, and to ask questions. His partner Miguel was also fantastic. He took care of the interior work and I must say, he’s an artist. He even took time to share a few pro tips on painting with me. Shane and Miguel will be at the top of my list for future projects.

We loved working with Shane and his assistant Miguel. They were very flexible, helpful, and pleasant to work with. Most of all, we are very happy with our new closet and two bath remodels! We definitely recommend them!

Shane was great to work with; He is kind and worked around our schedule. He is detail orientated and his work is amazing! He is a very skilled craftsman/artist. We wanted a barn door placed and no one was able to figure it out due to the door size; He placed one and it looks gorgeous! We love our new bathroom! We would highly recommend him.

We wanted a tub-to-shower conversion. We received a beautiful bathroom remodel from the Dutchman crew. Their skilled craftsmen worked with us all along the way and excelled in every detail of construction. If you want a remodel project from a company that is professional, easy to work with and competively priced, call Shane at Dutchman!

Shane is GREAT. I am beginning to work with him again and look forward to a continued business relationship!

Shane was a real pleasure to work with. He completed a full demo and remodel of our only full bath. As you can imagine, it was a stressful time for both my wife and I, but thankfully he did everything he could to get the job done quickly without sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a fantastic contractor, and a great guy to boot, Shane's your man.

Shane was outstanding to work with. He did more than a bathroom. He remodeled 2 bathroom a kitchen a living room an a laundry room. He did much of the work himself and his subs were all great. He was on site most every day during the project and was much more reliable than some other contractors we have worked with

Shane is great to work with. He is on the job most, if not all of the time. He was on budget, the project just took longer than expected.

Shane became one of the family during our sunroom/bathroom addition. We have a 108 year old home which has many challanges. Shane and his team did a remarkable job from fileing permits on a historic home to old plumbing/sewer issues. He came in on budget and on time. I've reccomended him to friends and are already planning a new sundeck addition with him. Though we don't miss the dust we miss Shane's smiling face in the mornings. You will not go wrong hiring Shane with Dutchman Remodeling. Brad & Mary Capitol Hill, Denver, CO

Shane did a great job for me on multiple projects including drywall repair, installation of tile floor, exterior garden pipe repair, garage wood frame and gutter repair. All projects were completed within a couple of days and everything looks great. Shane was diligent in communication and did not make assumptions without discussing with me exactly what I wanted.

Shane was great to work with. Quick, cheap and quality repair.

Did a kitchen remodel for me. Great work & communication! Shows up on tme, keeps me posted on how the work is going, & sticks to schedule & budget. I would hire Shane again & highly recommend his company to others.

We found Shane to be timely, professional and knowledgeable about the project and our 1891 home. We will definitely use him again in future projects and have already used him in another project we had besides the bathroom. He finished the job sooner than he estimated and did excellent work.

Shane was so friendly and responsive to my request. I've got several things I want to improve around my house, so my initial meeting with him was for something very minor, but I definitely plan to hire him for future projects.

Professional, high quality work, on time and on budget. I plan to hire Shane again for another project

Excellent work

Shane is one of the most personable people I've ever met. He is very thorough in his work. I had my bathroom redone. He has come back twice since the job was finished. One time I called about the bathtub seal drying and shrinking, he repaired it the next day. Several weeks later, Shane called and said he wasn't pleased with the grout he had been using and asked if it would be ok if he came back and completely redid the grout. Of course I said yes. He did an excellent job on the new tile floor in the bathroom. He knows where to go to get quality products. I really can't say enough about Shane and his work. It is OUTSTANDING!

Our project was a master bathroom renovation. We met with 3 contractors before starting the job. With all the prices for the project being fair and coming in about the same, we decided on Shane McKay and Dutchman Remodeling because we felt he best understood our vision for the project and was adding valuable ideas from the first meeting to help us define and evolve our project. Shanes work was outstanding throughout the project, his overall skills are excellent. Shane has an artistic eye and is very detail oriented. He tidied up at the end of each day and kept us updated on the progress. One important element was that Shane brought in excellent sub-contractors when they were needed (plumbing and glass shower). Shane is detail oriented and will take his time to insure the job gets done right, so dont expect a large project to be done quickly. We would highly recommend him.

Excellent job. He did what he said he would do and he did it on the time table he laid out.

Our contractor was very trustworthy and talented. He fixed our framing problems and made them look good in the process. He gave us reasonable quotes for every project we showed him (and there were several) and he was friendly, punctual and frankly, nice to talk to!

Dutchman was very professional and completed the job on time and within budget.

Shane McCay is awesome. The work on my house lasted almost 6 weeks, a very big job. Shane and his crew were there every day. They were punctual, polite, funny and fun to work with. They cleaned up after each days work and addressed my every concern till the work was perfect. Shane even made suggestions to make the rooms better than I had originally planned. I have found the carpenter and handyman of my dreams. No worries with Dutchman Remodeling!!!

Shane was great to work with - timely and honors his word. Would use him again!

We thouroughly enjoyed working with Shane. He has a very professional and down-to-earth attitude. He always arrived on time. He left with his work area as clean as when he started and was very careful not to spread the dust through the house. In the end, Shane did professional quality work on our tile floor and stuck to the agreed upon price. We have already scheduled for him to do more tiling work. Thanks, Shane.

I did not use him to install my countertops, but he did install a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal for me. He was just wonderful.
