Duvall Family Landscape

Jim believes to go above and beyond the scope of the project to make sure no details are left not taken care of. His team is reflective of him. They are hardworking and also pay attention to the details. I have hired a few landscapers in my life but Jim is in a different class all by himself. He listens to what you want and makes sure you get that and more. He has the kind of integrity and professionalism that is almost impossible to find. If you want to have peace of mind on whatever landscaping or concrete work you are looking for, then Duvall Famiky Landscape is the company for you. You will not be disappointed - only amazed!

He was very nice. He was an excellent salesman. I explained to him that I could not take care of my property anymore because I was physically severely disabled. I needed him to do a fence for me and set up automatic irrigation and landscaping for my yard so that it would be self sustaining. He did a lot of work. He installed a lawn, put in the irrigation, and started the fence. He did a very good job. He started on the side fence and then the worker said he had another job that they had to rush. They never finished the job. We called him and asked him to fix the issue. I talked to him personally on the 26th of Feb. He said that his people would fix the problem, but that he was retiring. I said OK as long as they fix the problem, but then I never heard back. I have left messages and sent emails. My neighbor also tried to contact him, but received no response. I do not know where to go from here. I want the fence fixed, that is all.

The Duvall Family business was a very enjoyable experience. Jim, Shade and Jae were very professional and yet very hands on with my project. The crew did a wonderful job. Juan, Rene, Effron and Manwell put their heart and soul into my project. If you need any type of landscaping this is the company to hire. If a problem came up they took care of it. The Duvall crew worked on my project for one month. They were at my home every day working a full day. I have received so many compliments on the project from neighbors and people driving by. What a wonderful company and experience.

Uncommunicative back office. Rude emails to us without checking facts. Way overpriced for work. Rennovation of lawn was unsatisfactory . After paying $1,700, we would expect him, or anyone who did the work, to come out for free to fix what did not work. Instead he suggested we hire him out next week to do "re seeding and re compost Very disappointing after seeing all the positive reviews on Home advisor which lead us to hire them.

Jim, Shade , Jae and with Juan, Effron and the crew did a fantastic job. The attention to detail is there. They do the job right from the start. Fundamentals and foundation are the key to a long lasting well designed yard. It’s the little engineering tips and tricks learned in the profession that make a difference. Great people and part of our community which is important to me. I highly recommend Duvall Landscaping.

Jim and his company were easy to work with. He is friendly, straight forward, knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. They got the job done quickly and efficiently resulting in a beautiful more drought tolerant lawn. He even offered to come by and check on things when we had to head out of town a couple days after the sod was put in. Would absolutely recommend them to others.

Jim and Shade Duvall, along with their entire crew, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and skilled. For my project, I needed some basic landscaping on a raw lot, but I didn't want to spend a fortune because I was planning to add a pool in a year or two. They helped me design a landscape that gave me all the features I needed (lawn, patio, playground safety zone, privacy screen trees) with a minimal budget and in such a way that I won't have to tear it all up and replace it later when we instal the pool. As the work proceeded, I ended up needing to modify plans after work had been done. (For instance, the swingset I had ordered separately didn't match the expected dimensions). They took this all in stride and did a wonderful job of modifying the layout (multiple times!) with a smile. After the work completed, we had some water drainage issues caused by the rock-hard compacted clay on my lot. At first, I thought this was caused by a leak in the new irrigation lines, so I called Jim. He came out to look at it right away (on the weekend!), figured out the problem and had his crew out to add more underground drains the following day. Duvall Family Landscaping is great. Their prices are more than fair, they do high quality work, and stand behind it! Best of all, they are just great people. I enthusiastically recommend their services!

Professional and quality install. Jim was very friendly and straight forward. Gave us useful information before, during and after the project. They directed us to places where we could feel the grass before selecting. They also stubbed out a line from our drip system to the parkway strip for future use. My neighbors all commented on how fast they got the job done. I'm keeping their number handy for when we tackle the backyard.

It was a little more expensive that I had planned, but they got the job done well. I would certainly hire them again.

Extremely professional, timely and the work completed was high quality. My initial call was very very close to the Christmas holiday. Mr Duvall considered my situation an emergency and arrived at my home to investigate within an hour. The problem was identified, isolated and his team arrived after the holiday to repair and reinstall various portions of my sprinkler system.

Came in a timely manner and resolved the problem quickly, charged a reasonable price. Was easy to work with.
