Dwight and his crew did a great job addressing various areas of wood rot around the exterior of our home. What started as a smaller scale project quickly grew in scope as his team pulled off rotted trim and discovered additional rotting in multiple panels of siding. Dwight was quick to communicate each of these findings and offered options of how to move forward. He understood our concern of future water damage and helped us come up with a plan to repair what was needed with long term maintenance in mind. His crew worked hard and respected our home. A few roofing shingles were damaged from ladders that needed to rest on the roof to obtain access to elevated areas, such as our chimney, but Dwight was quick to call out a roofer and fix all shingles. At our final walk-through, they were attentive to details, and our completed repairs blend in seamlessly to our home!

Dwight and his team took care of numerous repairs within and outside our house. They included drywall installation and painting,outside woodwork and painting, and reframing...installing insullation....drywalling and texturing our garage ductwork. They were skilled,always on time and very courteous. I would him again should the need arise.

Dwight and his craftsmen performed high quality wood rot restoration/reconstruction of a significant portion of my multi trim decorative colonial style front portico. They showed close attention to detail throughout this project. They were careful protecting the nearby brick, concrete walk and plantings from falling paint and debris. This job was completed with efficiency within 2 days. On the first evening after work hours Dwight drove back to my home 1 hour each way to secure a protective tarp over their work in the face of a threatening storm. There were frequent updates/communication from Dwight throughout the project. Dwight and his team are highly dependable. I highly recommend McGarrah Painting!

Dwight and his crew are all amazing! Dwight will give you a fair and honest price. His crew all works hard in a timely manner and cleans up after themselves. They are pros who are respectful to your house as if it were their own. I hired them to do some dry wall repair, wood rot repair, and paint. They did an excellent job and Dwight filled me in throughout the whole process. He is easy to get in touch with and responds quickly. I am very satisfied with the work they did and was worth every penny!

The initial estimate was for approximately $7k to repair wood rot around two windows. Upon further inspection, it was determined that there was extensive damage, not only around the estimated window but around all of the windows. An inside floor had to be repaired, roof decking had to be repaired, beams round the windows had to be refabricated and replaced, 2x4 supports around the windows had to be replace, facia and soffit had to be repaired. The job lasted 2 full weeks. Everything they did was done excellently. My only disappointment was being more kept abreast of the exact costs for each of the additional items. Additionally, I would have liked to receive all of the photos taken of the job as it progressed. If I have one suggestion for Dwight, that would be to have someone on "staff" that would provide the client details (costs, etc) as the job progressed and also the photos of the job upon completion. I do recognize that this likely would increase the cost of the job.

Knew what he was doing. Great crew, all very personable yet still professional. Worked fast yet maintained high quality work. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

June 2024 We had hired Dwight and his team to repair wood rot, replace siding, paint, and stain the exterior of our primary residence. During the wood rot replacement faze, they found more damage than we expected. even though there was more work than we anticipated, the repairs were done in a timely and professional manor. The crew did a cleanup of the work area each day and ensured that their tolls were put away and all the ladders were stacked out of the way. When all repairs were made all bare wood was primed and all cracks and nail holes were caulked and the house was sealed. For the painting, we had requested a two toned paint scheme on the front and the back of the house. All windows, doors, and roof contact points were masked to protect from overspray. The base color was put down first followed by the trim work. Once all painting was completed, the crew mask and stained our porch roof extension which was cedar lined and at the time was bare wood. This was the second project that we had Dwight and his crew complete. Dwight and his crew painted our kitchen cabinets and removed the popcorn ceiling and added lighting to the kitchen. We were impressed by the work that his crew did in the kitchen enough to hire his crew a second time to paint and repair the exterior. Dwight was easy to work with and is nothing but professional and comes highly recommended from both myself and my wife.
