E5 Contracting Services

Unprofessional and dishonestI had to fire E5 from my job this summer. They began to work on April 15th and estimated 8 weeks. I fired them on July 19th (a full month past their estimate) after they had installed an entry door in the wrong spot and had to waste days moving it. But that was part of the course with E5. Piss poor tile installation in the bathroom, which had to be fixed by a competent handyman. Failure to properly install a heating element in tile bathroom floor, which still does not work. Unusable attic access installed by E5, which still needs to be fixed. Not only they are doing jobs wrong, but they also lie about how payment works. They tell you when you sign the contract, One third upfront, on third when the job is half done, the final third at the end. One two separate occasions while they were in my employ they had to come to me to beg for thousands of dollars early so they could make payroll. How, in the single best economy we have had in 50 years, can not make payroll? Stay away from these guys if you want a job finished. They are huxters and charlatans.

E5 Contracting Services is a reliable and trustworthy company. They are extremely good at what they do and leave your house looking fantastic. They are easy to deal with and extremely professional. They treat your home as if it were their own. Love our Garage Remodel!!!

Bought a townhouse with my daughter and E5 Contracting basically rebuilt the place. Gutted the kitchen, powder room and upstairs bathroom. Removed popcorn ceilings and painted. We could not be happier! Mike walked us through the entire process step by step. Sometimes going over things several times to make sure we knew what we needed to know. Was very patient. Very professional, kind, courteous, prompt, there really aren't enough good words to describe the work. Everyone on the crew went above and beyond for us. Cleaned up after themselves everyday they were there. Stuck to the timeline and if I asked him to do something else, the pricing was given before hand. Excellent communications. His painter Butch repaired and repainted and fixed the terrible job done by the painters I hired before them. Took down the popcorn ceiling and I absolutely love my ceilings now!!! He went above and beyond our expectations. At the final walk through we went over things that needed small fixes and Mike did them there and then and even fixed the over storage door for us. There is not one thing that I can complain about. I will hire him again when I need other things done and have recommended him to others. The work they did was awesome and we love walking into our home. Mike, I can not thank you enough for everything you did for us. We love our home!!!!

Mike & Brian were very professional, honest, & trustworthy. They completed our project in a timely manner, which was very important to us. We hired them to remodel our mother's home and get it ready for selling. From the very start, the communication was excellent. Mike was very clear about what work would be done and what the cost would be. When they ran into a couple unexpected issues on the site (which often happens in remodels), he was very upfront about the issue and the cost to repair it. The were no hidden additional costs. It's also worth noting that the project didn't drag on long after the projected completion date, as happens with some contractors. And, I never had a problem getting a return call or text. Great company -- would definitely use again and recommend to others looking for a reliable, quality contractor.

Mike, Brian and Jerry were a wonderful group to work with. This was a major gutting of bathroom that took slightly longer due to some minor issues of the room that needed to be addressed. We feel Mike gave an honest estimate. They advised us in ways to save money and do some little extra things to really complete the look we were looking for. They showed up daily, worked hard, keep the rest of the house as clean as they could. A pleasure to do business with! Our bathroom turned out spectacular so very happy with the results!

Mike are Brian were very professional. Their work was done at a very high quality and they were very efficient. They were very pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable in their craft and trade. The thing that most stands out is the attention to communication throughout the duration of the job from the quote to completion. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mike and Brian were personable and friendly. They did a marvelous job of remodeling of our upstairs bathroom. They answered all of our questions and were willing to do a little extra to make things look good. We plan to hire them for future work on our home.

Mike and Brian remodeled our very, old and outdated family room. The room now looks like a brand new house, it's great! In addition, to looking great, Mike was able to uncover serious electrical problems in the room and was able to rewire the room at a very reasonable price. Mike and Brian were very easy to work with and treated our home as if it was there own. They were very respectful and cared a lot about the project. It turned out awesome!

They showed up right on time as promised. I needed 5 doors adjusted because of new carpeting. They did the job quickly but also made sure each door fit exactly the way I wanted it. They also cleaned up after the job. Would definitely use them again.

I hired E5 Contracting to remodel a laundry room in my basement. Mike and his assistant Brian did an outstanding job. Mike was meticulous in letting me know of changes and adjustments that had to be made as the work progressed. He made several suggestions that not only saved me money but improved on the original design. They finished the job within the estimated time frame and at the agreed upon cost. I would highly recommend E5 Contracting and would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Mike and his associate Brian were intrumental in placing a series of artworks in my home, to establish a 'Flow' or ambience. They also provided potent feedback/hints to further enhance the interior of my home. Kudos! They have exceeded my expectations.

I really liked working with Mike and his team. They were responsive, courteous and they know what they were doing. Most everything done as planned - a few slight changes in the plan but always with our best interests in mind. I would highly recommend and will use again.

They were very professional, exceptionally clean and precise with installing my bathroom and hallway porcelain tiles. They even made recommendations based on their professional know-how. They are also very easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Highly experienced and very efficient. Pleasant mannerism, fair price. It was amazing to watch him repair 4 doors that I had installed improperly prior to him. He did a great job, and very meticulous. We have a few other things lined up for him to do within the coming weeks and months. Would highly recommend him for any type job. A great guy to keep in mind when you need anything done around the house keep his number handy!

When I first posted my project on Home Advisor, Michael of E-5 responded within 30 minutes. This was a bathroom project involving insulation of toilet pipes that had been freezing over past winters. I had previously contacted several plumbing and insulation companies, but apparently my project was too small for them to bother. E-5 came out, helped diagnose the problem and proposed alternative solutions. the work was done on-time, on budget, and the clean-up was spotless. My wife already has several additional projects we hope to have E-5 do for us. I recommend them highly.

Mike was very friendly and "talked up" a good job. He told me what he was going to do and it should only take a few days because of the drying time. Day of the job, he said he didn't know how to resurface my garage floor and would have his cousin do it. Cousin informed me that he never did it before. But it wasn't a difficult job. After falling asleep on the lawn, and throwing cigarette butts all over my driveway, he finished the job in 8 hours instead of the 2 hours he estimated. He also estimated 3-4 bags of concrete....he used 26! I let Mike, the owner, know how disgusted I was because the floor was a mess! It was very lumpy and uneven and difficult to walk on. Mike said he would repair the job, which he attempted to do. He told me to purchase one gallon of paint....that didn't even cover half of the floor....and he did not prime the floor so the paint is already peeling off and my floor has 6 cracks in it because the concrete coating is too thick. My neighbor also had Mike do his garage floor at the same time....HIS FLOOR TURNED OUT WORSE THAN MINE! I can only imagine how bad the floor will look after going through a winter. My neighbor has called him several times and he agreed to fix his floor but never showed up on the date and does not returns his calls. A job that was suppose to take a few days was dragged out for weeks, at which time all the furniture and refrigerator from the garage were in my driveway. THE JOB FROM HELL!
