Ed was wonderful at first. But when his repair did not work and the rain continued to leak into the porch, Ed did not return my calls or answer my texts. The problem area is still working. And no sign of Ed. I paid him in full Silly me!

They did a great job and were very professional. My roof was in need of a cleaning and it looks like a new one!! I highly recommend E&D roofing .

It's tough to find roof repair for a slate roof, but Ed responded quickly and worked efficiently. He found ways to save us money when replacing broken or missing tiles and provided pictures to back up work he saw to be needed. He found some other issues while up there - and came back to update and provide a more permanent fix for the cap and valleys which probably hadn't been serviced in many decades. Our roof looks much better and will likely stand up to the elements for the next hundred years.

I hired Ed to repair a leak I had in my metal roof. He noticed other issues and added to the contract. I paid a deposit and was requested to pay the balance at the time of repair. He was very timely in arriving to give estimate and pick up deposit. He missed the first day he was scheduled. The day he did show up, was an hour late. He stated it would be a full day job, where I wouldn't be there at finish, he requested balance of the payment. I checked in around 2:00 and he stated he was finished since he grabbed another guy, and "they knocked it out". I checked my security camera and shows him leaving 10 minutes after I left, and returning 3 hrs later alone. The guy he left on to complete the job was waking around the property, sitting on the stone wall after 2.5 hrs. 10 minutes later, he had ladders loaded and he left. Once I questioned the work he completed, he stated he'd be back to complete the job. He did not show, and has not answered any of my tests phone calls since. I spoke to his girlfriend( who all the licenses are under), and she stated he kicked her out of their house, and no longer has anything to do with the business. I would highly suggest not to deal with E & D Roofing, or Edwards Richards Roofing. I paid $1,700 for a 2.5 hour repair that another professional stated looks like a hack job.

Ed was wonderful. Came over and repaired our roof that was fixed by another company 2 years back. We were having leaking out of every spot near our chimney. Ed repaired the issues left by the last roofers. Unfortunately two days later during a bit of a rain storm we noticed leaking again. I e-mailed E&D and within 15 minutes Ed was at my door coming to check it out. The leak was not from him but also from bad repair work prior, he offered to come back and fix the issue for us. Very pleased with this company. Highly recommend.
