These guys suck! They did come and install a garage door opener. I asked them to fix a single door, and install an opener on a double door. They installed the opener, and stated that they would be back to take care of the single door. No one returned to fix the single door, and I had to rig the other opener to work myself, as they had hooked the opener up to power that was only on when the light switch was turned on. I called the place twice after they were at my home. No one returned. Poor service. No communication.

Terrible. He took $300 for a down payment on a garage door and we never got it. He cut the wire on our garage door track which wasn't needed. He said he would install the new door in three days. A week later he acted surprised that it wasn't installed, when we called him. Then he promised it would be there in another week. It wasn' t. Finally, almost a month since we called him we still didn't have a working garage door. A few days later he said the garage door came in and he said it was too big and he would give us our money back. This was the end of January, almost four weeks later. Then his phone stopped taking our calls. We never saw our money again. Very disappointing.

Snotty work at best. Does cover his own warranty work!!! I wouldn't ever hire them!!!!!

The owner Joey came over to repair a faulty spring cable he gave me he could replace the door for a $ amount 1 month later same problem he promised 3 different occasions to fix the problem but never showed up. And he raised his price to replace the same door over the phone conversation but raised the price $200 I will NEVER HIRE HIM AGAIN!!!

EDT responded quickly. He was prompt with the appointment. Improperly diagnosed the problem. Left pig eared wires, no inline crimps.

Quality work. Superb trash removal, cleaner than when they started!

JOEY WAS THE INSTALLER. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FAST. WITHIN 2 HOURS GARAGE DOOR WAS WORKING AGAIN TO MY SATISFACTION.

He ask me to send pictures of the project. He never showed or return my calls. Very poor business practice.

The owner was friendly, polite and worked quickly. He was very neat and cleaned up all of his materials as well as to discard my used pieces. His prices were fair and reasonable. I will definitely refer him to other people.

This man totally scammed me. First did a faulty repair of my cables at 40 percent higher than competitors prices. Only replaced one cable when two should've been done. Other cable broke a week later. Then when he came he pointed many false symptoms of my heavy wood doors that would necessitate both my garage doors needing to be changed. I paid a deposit but wasn't told that this was non refundable. 2011 dollars for two C.H.I. doors. given the website to choose my color and style and was told that this would be fine. Next morning he said this was special order at 600 dollars more than ageed price and a week order time. I refused to agree to this new price. He put in the order regardless without my authority. Then said I had no choice to put in the doors or lose my deposit. In the meantime I was stuck with a broken door and parking cars or in subzero chicago weather. Had to call another company to fix the door after nearly a week arguing with this guy. Am taking him to court to get my deposit back and filed a department of consumer affairs complaint in both Wisconsin and Illinois.WARNING! Don't trust this guy in either work or products or it'll be your loss.

Came within 1 hour of phone call on a frigid night--solved my problem with on-hand parts from his truck. Great service.

He was eager, friendly, polite and thoughtful.

I am not sure about the technician that came out. He did fix the door issue that I had so that part was good. But he asked me to make the check out to some other company not EDT. That part made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I'm disappointed with the communication. The worker thought I told him he could keep my personal ladder he used and when I contacted about him being it back he keeps saying he will. it's been a week and still no ladder plus I pay him over and he was to have brought back my change because he had no chnage at the time of payment. He responded quickly to the job but now I can't get him to bring back my ladder of $12. So what would happen If something went wrong with the guranteed repair job he did!!!! I'm not a happy customer.

EDT replaced the fully insulation garage door for me. The job performed professionally and the price is reasonable. Good communication, Promptly responded to my message. I would recommend to my friends if any of them need this service.

Responded very promptly, coming out the morning after my call and teplacing the garage door opener after determining that it could not be repaired. I cannot evaluate the appropriateness of this diagnosis or the price, but appreciated the timely service to restore a functioning opener during a very cold spell in Chicago.

He was hired with the understanding that the price would be $150. After the installation, he said the price now is $185.

This was not a professional. You guys need to do a better job. This will be referred to the BBB.

Our spring and cables broke, the following day I put in the request the pro from EDT was here. Very professional and considering the work involved with changing out the spring the value for the money was well worth it!

I am very pleased with their service and price.
