They did a great job with tree removal and clean up!

Tree Removal
They cut down my seven trees and grind the stumps. They should cleaned it after grinding the stumps but they didn't, they wanted more money. Before that, we discussed that cleaning would be included on my payment and they agreed. After the service, I called them and they said that cleaning is not included on the $2000.00 that I paid. I ended up hiring another contractor for this one which cost me $500.00.

"Hey bob sorry that you are still unhappy about the outcome of this job. We had agreed upon a price to remove the seven trees and clean up which we did and stump grinding was never mentioned as included in the bid. I did mention to him that we could come back sometime and grind the stumps for him and he did agree on the phone that he assumed it was included. This is the only customer we have ever had an issue with in almost a year and a half in business. We work to impress and please the customer here at E & H!"

Be careful of this company they said they would grind my stumps included in the original price but than asked me for additional money to do it.

These 2 young men did a great job on trimming several trees on our property. They checked with us to make sure that they were doing the work to our satisfaction (and they were). They got everything cleaned up when done and the trees looked great. Definitely would hire them again!

After being ghosted by several "established" tree companies in Central Iowa I found online, I went to HomeAdvisor to find someone who would actually do the work after coming put to put in a bid on removing my dead ash tree. These guys fron E&H Maintenance called me and came out 2 days later to take a look at my tree. They gave me a reasonable bid and came by 6 days later to do the work. Just two very capable young men who worked hard and got most the tree down in one day, even having to work around multiple power lines and dealing with limbs hanging over my house. The next day they came back to cut down the rest of the trunk and they thoroughly cleaned everything up when they were finished. They did an amazing job with less equipment and with only two guys for about the same price the larger companies had quoted me. I would highly recommend skipping those tree companies who have websites and non-responsive office staff who may quote you a bid but will never bother to return your calls or come out when promised, and go with these two hard-working entrepreneurs. You'll be glad you worked with them, I guarantee it!

"You may look at this review and not consider us as a company that you would want to assist you with your tree needs. Though he says we did not remove the tree, we had agreed upon a price prior to the job. We then show up to complete the job about a week later only for the individual to let us know that he will not be paying the price we agreed on when completed. He was going to pay 1/3 of the agreed price instead. So we took all of the stuff over his house which was over 1/3 of the tree and cleaned up and left. Which then took him almost a month to make payment. We are a very workable company with very flexible pricing."

I had called around to a few different tree service companies for quotes. I kept getting the run around from a few of them, and I still havenâ t heard back from some. I found E&H Maintenance and Tree Service on Home Advisor. They came out the same day, gave a very reasonable quote, and got started right away. The work they did was outstanding. I would definitely hire them again. HIRE E&H FOR ALL OF YOUR MAINTENANCE AND TREE SERVICE NEEDS... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! -Recommend 10/10
