Ed worked for us on three separate projects over the past three years. His first project was to install engineered wood flooring on the lower level of our home (3 rooms and 2 closets). He also painted and installed new trim and baseboard in all of these rooms. He moved cold air vents to accommodate the wider baseboards. He installed closet shelving, and did some minor sheetrock repair and insulation in one bedroom. He returned a few months later, at which time he installed engineered wood flooring and new baseboard in an office. His most recent project involved removing old stairs, newel posts, balusters, skirt boards, etc. and installing all new stair components. This was an especially time-consuming project. Ed’s attention to detail is amazing. He measures multiple times before he does any cutting. He has a good sense of design and an eye for what looks right. When we were at a loss as to how to handle particular problems, he was able to come up with solutions that worked and looked good. It is easy to communicate with Ed and he explains things in a way we can understand. We would definitely hire him again, and hope he is available for our next project in 2017.

Ed did a beautiful job creating a custom stair rail and post. Good problem solving, communication, customer service and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Ed completely took apart our interior stairs/baseboards, then stripped and refinished them. He also sanded and refinished a landing and a railing. He then reinstalled the stairs expertly; they were hideously creaky and loud and now they're beautiful and QUIET. He did a great job and he's a nice guy to work with.

Ed was great! Called right away and gave an estimate the same day. He does beautiful work and I will definitely hire him again. I would recommend him to others as well.

Ed did a great job of replacing our wobbly stair railing/banister with a sturdy, beautifully designed railing and spindles. He worked a long day (with few noticeable breaks) to complete the job by the end of the day. Along the way, he skillfully solved problems to fit everything perfectly. The work area was kept clean and there was no dust to clean up afterwards. Ed is pleasant and personable and clearly a talented carpenter.

We had contacted Ed for our project from the time of the consultation to the time of the finished and install was roughly a week and a couple days & was real affordable. We had oak pillars attached to our oak archway between the living room & dinning room. The detail & craftsmanship is remarkable. This was a small job (installing new wooden handrail on stairway wall), but still he was on time, fast worker, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. The handrail was done up to code and looks good. I may hire him for other jobs.
