Don't seem to like anything that takes time and detail to the work. Had to clean up mortar after them

We do not recommend EJ Services or Justin Monk for Tile work or Trim. He did not mortar the backer board to the floor, nor use enough screws to anchor is properly, and did not put enough thinset on the tiles. The result is constant grout cracking, even after he grouted twice. It transferred to the tiles which began cracking in less than a month. According to 4 other tile layers it was beyond repair. He refused to acknowledge this and stubbornly offered a repair that no one else had even heard of. He also offered a “full” refund but expected us to wait until summer when his business picks up and it didn’t include the loss of our materials. We have gone to court as we lost $5820 in tile, labor, and another $500 in trim and are still cleaning up the mess (doors ripped, casing too short, cupboards had to be re-glued and leveled) he made in our house. We have been awarded a judgment; however it is useless to try collect as he can’t even be found at the address on his card.

EJ Services were awesome! We hired them to pour a cement slab for a hot tub!! They were all very professional, friendly, and RESPONSIBLE! They did everything they say they would do when they said they would do it. They showed up, they returned phone calls. Quality and price was also awesome! I would highly recommend them to everyone!
