Lifesavers!! Saved my sister and I a lot of money as we were told by one company we would need our sewer line replaced and E.L. Aprea come out and snaked the line again and was able to get through the roots blocking the line and recommended what we could do further help with the root issue. Will definitely call them again for any future work and will recommend to family and friends.

Water Main Install, Replace or Repair
We initially hired the company after speaking with the owner, Fernando Aprea regarding toilet waste coming up through the drain in the basement and laundry tub. They determined that the problem was a sewer line connected to the main drain. However, after digging 10 feet and replacing PVC, the problem continued to exist. The owner, Fernando, continuously stated that he would send someone out to resolve it but to no avail. Fernando informed my husband that he would come out first thing in the morning, AGAIN, NO CALL NO SHOW. This back and forth went on for a week and we are out $1500 with the same initial problem. This is not a good company to work with, never followed up or showed up after informing them the problem still exists. We would not recommend this company to anyone. They take your money and leave you with the same problem you are paying them to fix. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Not a good, reputable company.

"We are sorry that you feel that way.I'd also like to add that I feel this company as a whole has a very good reputation with very few complaints. And it is unfortunate that your plumbing needs additional work. The technician that initially responded to your blockage determined that there was a break in your drain a few feet outside the foundation at which time he informed you that it would cost $1500 to complete. After 3 long days of hand digging we replaced the section of sewer that we found a hole in and installed a section of pipe and clean out. We and you ran water for a long time to verify that there was flow. The next day the crew backfilled the site. You called me and said you overpaid by $100 and I agreed to send a tech back to do additional work for the overpayment. A few days later 2 of my workers spent a few hours well into 9:30 -10 pm replacing the piping under your laundry tub in the basement (about an additional $400 worth of labor and materials) during normal hours. At which time the drains were running fine. Then a few days after that you called and asked if I could send someone out because the drain was backing up again. So I sent the same tech that was sent out the first time because he was familiar with the job. That night too, he worked into the evening hours at no charge. That time he couldn't get the snake past the foundation and you were told it was going to cost another $1200 to break the concrete and trace the problem inside the home. The piping in that entire building is nearing a century in age. Though we strive to be thorough and expedient , we can not keep chasing bad pipe through an entire building for one price. Old iron drains tend to crumble from the inside. Someone had attempted some repairs inside the home previously that don't look right. We are sorry that your plumbing system needs more attention that requires more money. We do a lot of charity work with Saint Vincent De Paul and the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, maybe that is an option. My employees are paid hourly with overtime not on a commission to eliminate the employee from over charging."

The best compliment for a service company is to be hired back to do another job and I have several jobs lined up for them to do! The prices are very fair, the workers are hardworking and respectful and I (the customer) am very happy. I had the sewer line replaced from the house to the main line. It's in a small tight area in my back yard. I am impressed by the quick, alternative solutions Fernado (the owner) implemented when he encountered several unexpected issues. The job was completed on time, especially considering a few surprise setbacks,and it was completed within the budget. I give E.L. Aprea Services, Fernando, Troy and the rest of the workers 10 stars! Update: I discussed another job for this company to do and was told they could start in 2 weeks. multiple emails were sent to the owner and I received no response. So, although my first job was completed, the company was not responsive to future business from me.

I was completely satisfied with my experience with E.L. Aprea Services for replacement of our gas water heater. Upon contacting Fernando the day after Christmas, he quoted me quickly and accurately and scheduled replacement first thing the next morning. Both of the installers he sent were extremely courteous and efficient, working together to overcome obstacles they encountered such as clogged drains and not trying to take advantage of such situations as other companies might do. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to others and look forward to using them again when the opportunity arises.

Sump Pump or Interior Foundation Drains Installation
Make sure they have enough tarps to cover your items if they has to cut concrete. Things will get dusty and you will have a little cleaning to do.

Fernando and team did a great job installing new plumbing for my 1/2 bath pedestal sink. Unfortunately, the sink basin was damaged so he needs to return to finish the work. Fernando was professional and courteous. Will definitely hire the company again for future plumbing needs.

Replaced pipes that were broken and installed incorrectly. Dug up yard to removed concrete thrown in by NGU plumbing. Fixed pitched in ground. Very polite, honest and descent price. 90 percent less then NGU charged. only difference is E.L. fixed the problem and saved my home from being taken by the city.

They Did do the work however I was not expecting to clean up after them and I expected a detailed bill instead of Ok it is XXXX amount of Dollars, especially when knew were going to see if insurance covered any of the repairs. Was told would have a detail invoice . I never received it. I learned my lesson.

These guys are great. They do excellent work and don't overcharge you. We are thinking of installing a bathroom into our basement and will definitely hire them to do work. I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing service!

Water Main Install, Replace or Repair
The work turned into a lot more work than Any of us ever expected. What was expected to be a 1 day job turned into almost 3 days. The Crew did us a great service by making sure the Water was on by the 2nd day so we only had 1 day with out service. I can not fault the company for the delay, Most main lines are only 5-6 ft deep, Well ours was but then went deeper at one time we ended up over 10 ft and it was still deeper. Fernando made the right call in Just laying a new line that was one piece instead of what the old was in multiple pieces. This entailed a little actually A LOT of extra time and labor for them but they stayed true to the estimate and that was appreciated since this was all out of my Pocket. Great customer service and regardless of problems stuck to the task and never complained.
