We hired Elmech for a property at work - we are in real estate. I really enjoyed speaking with Frank and walking around the property with him to see his point of view on things. He explained everything quite clearly and did not seem to be rushed. He did a thorough inspection, and I will be contacting him for personal matters this time around instead of work. I definitely recommend Elemech!!!!

Performed duties as requested at site. (Foundation inspection) Afterward, we asked for a proposal on a site plan and only heard back from the engineer after having to reach out to him ourselves. The engineer did some off book research for us on the site plan for us but advised us that we didn't need what we were asking for. (We still wanted one!) Overall, nice, pleasant and knowledgeable, but seemed disinterested in us as a customer. We made alternate arrangements for site plan workup.

Frank Roscoe is a very knowledgeable, and compassionate engineer. He provided a structural analysis of the outside of our church. He took his time to explain the process, definitions, and his findings. He sent me report in the time frame that he promised. The report explained what to do immediately, what needed repairing, and what to monitor for future damage.

I had a quarter-inch crack in my basement wall (poured concrete) and called ELMECH to get a structural assessment. ELMECH sent Frank Roscoe, who came and meticulously inspected the inside and outside of the house. Frank explained everything he was seeing as he performed the inspection, which I really appreciated. Frank also answered all of my questions at a very accessible level. Frank clearly is experienced and knowledgeable. After receiving Frank's report, I emailed with a few follow-up questions and Frank was willing to call me back on a Sunday so that I could get answers to my questions before I left on a business trip. Although the recommended repairs are expensive, Frank's explanations really helped give me confidence that hiring contractors to fix my problem is the right thing to do.

We hired Frank Roscoe PE from ELMECH Industrial Services to do a structural inspection on a home we were selling. The bank had concerns based on a photo showing a crack on the exterior brickwork taken during their inspection. After a thorough inspection, Frank determined that the crack only affected the exterior brick fascia and hadn't compromised the supporting foundation. We were all relieved. Frank was very knowledgeable, informative and answered all of our question. We were also on a tight timeline and Frank had our report ready by the next morning. Frank R did our inspection. It was extremely thorough and professional. We hired Frank for an structural assessment and a redesign of a loading bearing wall. On time and very knowledgeable. He explained the process in detail and walked through what he was looking during the assessment. Just received the first portion of my report. We hired Frank Roscoe, P.E. from ELMECH Industrial Services to assess the damage to the foundation of a brick row home we considered purchasing. After a very thorough exploration of the premises he was able to advise us on the probable extent of the damage and suggest a course of action to monitor and remedy the situation. During the inspection, he took the time to educate us on how he arrived at his conclusion. The information he provided made us feel comfortable handling the problem and we proceeded with the purchase of the home. We received great value for a fair price and would highly recommend his services as a structural engineer.
