Seth Cunningham came to do an assessment of our home last week, he was friendly, easy to talk with, walked us through different options, and was great at communicating about next steps and what to expect. I particularly appreciated that he didn't use any scare tactics and I didn't feel pressured to make a decision.

I hired TerraFirma Foundation Systems to level my home, expecting a professional job with clear communication, but the entire experience has been incredibly disappointing and costly. From the start, I hired the company to level the floors in my home, specifically to address a nearly 3-inch dip in my kitchen area, a 13x10 room. Yet after they â completed the job, I still have a 1.5-inch dip in the center of the kitchen, and a corner of my home/kitchen that sits half an inch higher than it should be (above 0%), creating a full inch rise from the living room to the kitchen. Now they are saying that leveling the kitchen was not included in the original scope, blaming the remaining dip on my kitchen island and fridge being â too heavy and lacking proper support an issue they failed to identify in the initial assessment. To properly address this problem, they are now asking for an additional $7,500, claiming this work was never part of the original job. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and I cant help but feel taken advantage of. To make matters worse, I discovered that they used an uncalibrated machine during the initial leveling when installing, which raised my house over an inch more than necessary, causing significant damage that was not there before. Partway through the lift, they even asked me to sign a waiver to get my house closer to 0% level, effectively absolving them of any damage caused. The technician stopped mid-lift to show me the damage that was already occurring and warned that more would likely follow if we continued. I agreed to proceed, trusting their assurances and assuming their equipment was properly calibrated. I even pointed out to the technician at the time that it did not look level, and he assured me the machine was correct. Now, they refuse to take any responsibility for the resulting damage, dismissing it as standard and providing terms within the contract absolving them despite them overcorrecting the home. There were also repeated measurement discrepancies, with reports showing one reading and verbal statements/emails suggesting different levels. When I sought clarification, I received vague responses and empty apologies. After all this, and nearly $30,000 invested, my floor remains unleveled. The only resolution TerraFirma Foundation Systems has offered is for me to pay additional money to level the kitchen and to wait for the overcorrected area to â settle naturally a process that, according to their technician, could take anywhere from two months to ten years. I hired TerraFirma Foundation Systems to fully level my home, not to leave me with an incomplete job, inconsistent results, and vague promises. If you are considering foundation work, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere this company has left me with extensive damage, unexpected costs, and a significant amount of frustration.

Terrafirma was excellent and made sure the job was done correctly before they left. Despite a failure of communication they made sure it was corrected. No complaints. Not cheap, but absolutely worth it. Talk to the boss if you have questions.

Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. They did exactly as their proposal laid out. There was no mess; the job was completed quickly. I had 3 bids for the work; they were $700 & $1400 cheaper than the other two companies.

Very efficient, thorough and took the time to show me tons of pictures of the underside of my house. Great explanations of why they choose to do certain things.

These guys will promise you anything to get you to sign on the dotted line. They say they can level a sidewalk with their filler. I found out the hard way that this is not true. They worked for days filling underneath my sidewalk with God knows what and the sidewalk never budged. Doh on me. They are very expensive, especially when all they ended up doing was grinding the sidewalk down where it was higher. I tell everyone who is thinking of using these guys to level anything to beware.

I had a patio that was in need of leveling. They knew exactly what to do and did it in a day. It looks great and I am very happy.

They gave me a project dat and time, showed up as promised, finished with one day.

We were told they could lift the concrete and eliminate the big separations from the settlement. They lifted yet the large 2-inch cracks remained. They promised more than they could deliver and way overpriced at almost $ 4000.00!

Turns out I didn’t need foundation repair. So they’re honest at the least :-)

I have had two issues since they installed the new sump pump and irrigation. Issue number one was water still getting passed the new concrete. The other issue is that the new concrete was not level at all which has caused issues with the new flooring I installed. However, their customer service is top notch and will work hard to take care of you.

The project was to fix bouncing floors. Very nice people. However, was very expensive. No one else would come out to give me a quote.

$20k for a crawl space encapsulation with a three-pump sump system is a lot of money. Too much? I am not sure of the four companies that came out, only TerraFirma gave a quote.
